For Undergraduate programs
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination in relevant subjects with at least 50% marks. Admission is based on EAPCET, GGUCET, JEE merit, or any other qualifying examination. For the BCA program, candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in 10+2 or an equivalent examination with computer applications or computer science as a core or additional subject, and they must appear for the entrance test conducted by GGU.
For Postgraduate programs
Students applying for courses such as M.Tech should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA and must have valid scores in entrance exams like GGUCET/PGECET/GATE.
For the MCA program, candidates must have completed graduation in BCA or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% aggregate marks and a valid GGUCET/ICET examination through the Convenor quota. They must have Maths in class 12th or in their Bachelor’s.
For the Doctoral programs
For the Doctoral Programme, candidates have to qualify UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/CEED and similar national-level tests for fellowship or scholarship, followed by an interview at GGU for admission.

Admission to the PhD programmes at GGU is done through two main methods. First, students must qualify for national-level tests such as UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR NET, GATE, CEED, or GGU entrance exam. Second, they must attend an interview at GGU after they qualify the entrance exam.
A 5% relaxation in entrance test marks is given to SC/ST/OBC/differently abled, EWS, and other eligible categories as per rules. GGU decides the number of candidates called for an interview based on the availability of seats in the program. The final merit list is created based on 70% marks from the entrance exam and 30% marks from the interview.
