GNLU Gandhinagar Admission Process

GNLU Gandhinagar Eligibility Criteria 2025
GNLU eligibility for each course is based on the level of study and the program chosen. Whether applying for a UG, PG, or PhD course, students must meet certain academic and entrance exam requirements. The detailed criteria for each program are mentioned below.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 or hold a graduation degree in Law (LL.B), depending on the specific course they are applying for.
For undergraduate programs, a minimum of 45% marks is required for candidates from General, OBC, PwD, NRI, PIO, and OCI categories, while SC and ST candidates need at least 40%.
Postgraduate programs require applicants to have completed an LL.B degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category students).
For admission to PhD programs, candidates must have a Masterās degree with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, they must qualify through an entrance exam, which could include UGC NET, JRF, SLET, or M.Phil.
Students currently in their final year of college can also apply for admission.
Admissions are offered based on CLAT or CLAT PG scores, depending on the course level.

GNLU Gandhinagar PhD Admission 2025
GNLU Gandhinagar PhD admission for full-time and part-time courses is open for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates must have a masterās degree with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade āBā in the UGC 7-point scale. 5% relaxation is provided for the students belonging to the reserved category. The minimum duration of the PhD program is 3 years. The university offers a PhD degree program in various disciplines, such as management, Social Work, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, etc. The selection process for the PhD program is based on various exams, such as UGC-NET/JRF and GPAT. Students are exempted from the GPAT if the selection is based on UGC-NET/JRF.
