GNLU Gandhinagar PhD admission for full-time and part-time courses is open for the academic year 2025-26. Candidates must have a masterās degree with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade āBā in the UGC 7-point scale. 5% relaxation is provided for the students belonging to the reserved category. The minimum duration of the PhD program is 3 years. The university offers a PhD degree program in various disciplines, such as management, Social Work, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, etc. The selection process for the PhD program is based on various exams, such as UGC-NET/JRF and GPAT. Students are exempted from the GPAT if the selection is based on UGC-NET/JRF.
