GIET University follows a structured seven-step protocol for visiting organisations for the recruitment process:
Step 1: Initial Contact – Interested organisations must first contact the GIETU Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to express interest in campus recruitment.
Step 2: Formal Invitation to Candidate – The Training and Placement Cell issues a formal invitation within 24 hours of contact, also detailing the complete job profile and technical requirements.
Step 3: Scheduling and Contact – Placement dates are finalised. A dedicated SPOC is assigned to the company to assist with logistics.
Step 4: On-Campus Coordination – The assigned SPOC manages the company's entire itinerary. Recruiting firms are allowed full use of campus facilities to conduct sessions according to their preferred format.
Step 5: Announcement of Results – Companies will have to announce the final list of selected candidates on-site or through email immediately after the completion of the recruitment process.
Step 6: Distribute Offers – Job offers may be extended on the spot or sent in due course after selection.
Step 7: Candidate Onboarding – The placement department manages candidate selections. Ensures that students complete all administrative steps to join the company on their scheduled start date.
