The Flame University is a State Private University established in the year 2015. The infrastructure is widespread across 70 acres. The university at present holds grants and accreditation from UGC. Flame University Course Admissions
The Flame University courses are broad on all levels, starting from the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. At the undergraduate level, Flame University provides B.Des as the core specialization. Whereas, at the postgraduate level, the specializations offered by Flame University are MBA, MBA Communication Management, MSc Economics, and Postgraduate Program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (PGPEI). The university also provides doctoral programs in various disciplines. The Flame University also offers the Summer School Program under which the university strives to provide students with an opportunity to experience the liberal ethos of FLAME University, which values and incorporates an interdisciplinary pedagogy.
The university provides all the courses in the disciplines like Creative Writing, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Geographic Information Systems, Psychology, South Asian History, Computer Science, International Relations, Art History, Theatre, & Media Studies. The courses will be taught by the faculty of the university and the visiting international faculty from partner institutions. All courses will be delivered in person. As the summer school courses are running globally, learners can expect a diverse and global classroom experience.
Flame University Eligibility Criteria
The following is the list of eligibility criteria that an applicant has to satisfy to secure a seat in the desirable course in the university:
- The very basic requirement is to have 10th and 12th with at least 60% to 50%, and it is 45% to 55% marks for the reserved category, depending on the course chosen.
- For the B.Des., the applicant must have completed their 12th from a reputed school, and also, the applicant must be below the age of 21 years.
- Applicants must hold a valid score card of any of the National Level Examinations: CAT, XAT, PERA, MH-CET, CUET, SAT & CMAT, or an entrance test conducted by the university itself.
- For the MBA, the university accepts a valid score card of any of the national-level entrance examinations, along with group discussion and personal interview. Along with that, the university also wants the applicant to establish their final year degree before 30th September 2026.
- For MSc Economics, the applicant must have completed their B.A./ B.Sc/ B.Com/ BBA, B.Stat/ B.Math/ B.Tech/ or any other similar course.
- Apart from the above-mentioned criteria, the university itself also conducts and holds an entrance examination to test the eligibility of the applicant applying for the specific course.
Flame University Scholarships
Along with different courses and specialisations, Flame University also provides a certain set of scholarships for deserving candidates. The list of scholarships is listed below:
- Merit-Based Scholarship: All students who are applying to the college are eligible for the scholarship. This scholarship is especially designed for students who are willing to study but are facing financial issues. So, to support those meritorious students, the college offers a scholarship of a full fee waiver to any one of the most deserving students. This is done to encourage learners to enroll in learning.
- The Flame Fellows Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to postgraduate learners who have scored nearly 90 percentile in CAT or XAT or have scored more than 650 in GMAT. 20 Students with the above-mentioned criteria are eligible for this scholarship, where the complete tuition fee is waived off. The selection process for this scholarship includes essay writing, interview involving two distinct rounds.
- Special Scholarships applied through the Application: To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must fulfill the following criteria:
- Rank holder in academics on the state, board, or national level.
- Students who excel in sports are also eligible for this scholarship, provided they have secured a position in any level of a tournament.
- Scholarships based on Finance: This applies to the students who are experiencing situations that are out of their control. Examples of such situations are experiencing death in the family or a serious health issue. Upon submitting the required documents, the students receive an emergency fund for their fees.
- For the Newly Enrolled Merit Holders: This scholarship is structured to encourage the newly enrolled merit holders to do wonders while studying at Flame University. To be eligible for this scholarship, the student must have ranked in the top 5% of their class or have a minimum of 8.50 CGPA.
Terms and Conditions of the Scholarships
Although the college offers a wide range of scholarships, the students also have to satisfy the following requirements:
- For every scholarship holder, their performance will be evaluated every semester, and to continue with the scholarship, the student has to maintain an academic record between 7 to 9 CGPA.
- For any misconduct, the college can cancel the scholarship.
- The student will not receive the scholarship amount in hand; it will be directly deducted from the fees.
- On a timely basis, the scholarship committee will review and modify the terms and conditions of the scholarship.
