Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College offers admissions to its courses based on the pre-determined eligibility criteria mentioned below:
MBBS is an undergraduate course admission to which depends on a student’s score in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET) UG. Along with this, Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology) are required. The minimum age limit to pursue MBBS is 17 years.
A valid NEET-PG score is mandatory for admissions to all Postgraduate courses, such as MD and MS, along with an MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
Eligibility for Superspeciality courses is a passing grade from a recognised Medical institution in MD/MS, along with a valid NEET SS score.
Admission to MPH and M.Sc courses is based on an entrance test score.
For Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes, the basic eligibility criteria is a Master’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 55% aggregate (60% for Nursing).
