Undergraduate Programs
To be eligible for any B.Sc (Honours/ Honours with Research) programs in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Psychology, Food Technology, Agriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Fisheries, Computer Science, Information Technology students must have obtained at least 45% marks in study courses such as PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) of Class 12th or Agriculture. Students are admitted into this based on their academic performance.
Courses such as B.Sc (Hons) Medical Lab Technology (BMLT), Medical Microbiology (BMM), Medical Radio Imaging Technology (BMRIT), Medical Radio Imaging Technology and Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) require students to have completed 10+2 PCB/PCM and score a minimum of 45 % marks. Such programs are suited to those students planning to enter paramedical sciences and diagnostic sciences.
For Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) admission, students must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as important subjects, and they need to score a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board. Furthermore, it is a four-year course that helps students work in clinical settings that are involved in physical rehabilitation.
The B.Com (Hons / Hons with Research) admits students who have passed class 12th with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised board. Additionally, preference will be given to students who have studied Economics or Mathematics.
Postgraduate Programs
The requirements for admission to the M.Sc. course in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry are at least 50 per cent marks in the Bachelor of Science course. In specialised courses, such as M.Sc Medical Lab Technology (MLT), the candidates must have an undergraduate degree in MLT or in other allied subjects, such as Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Biochemistry.
To be eligible for M.Sc (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology, Entomology, Horticulture, and Agronomy Agricultural postgraduate courses, students are required to have a B.Sc (Ag.) or equivalent degree with a minimum of 45% marks.
Admission to the Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Ortho, Neuro, or Sports programs will require the candidate to have passed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) with an aggregate of 50% and above. Whereas, the minimum eligibility for the M.Com program is 40% marks in BA, B.Sc with Mathematics, or 50% marks in Economics.
