DIT University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
DIT University has set the admission eligibility criteria for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs for the 2026 academic year. In this, students who want to get admission into the UG courses must have completed Class 10+2 from a recognized board with the required subject combination and must have secured the minimum aggregate marks, which are usually 50 to 55%, depending on the program.
For engineering candidates, the subjects PCM are compulsory, whereas for pharmacy and healthcare candidates, the subjects PCMB are required. If the candidate is going for an Architecture course must have a valid NATA score. For the PG courses, students should have a valid score in a national-level exam, such as GATE or CAT. For PhD admission, students need to have a master's degree, and they need to appear for an entrance test and an interview.
Furthermore, students who are still in their last qualifying examination are also eligible for admission through conditional admission at DIT University, which is basically a way of giving provisional admission, which is subject to the students fulfilling the admission requirements once their final results are declared.

For courses such as the BA (Hons) in English, students should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. Admission to these courses will be based on Merit or Direct counseling.
Applicants who want to get admission into the B.Tech course should have passed class 12th in PCM with a minimum of 50% to 60% marks.
If a student wants to apply for the BCA course, they need to have 50% marks in subjects like Mathematics, Computer Science, and Information Technology in class 12th.
Students who want to get admission into the BPT course should have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks in PCMB and English, and they should be compulsory subjects.
For courses, such as M.Plan, students should have a Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Architecture, or Civil Engineering. Or they could have passed a Master’s degree in Geography, Social Sciences, or Economics. Furthermore, they need a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
Candidates applying for the MSc in Forensic Science course should have a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Forensic Science, Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Dentistry, or Ayush with a minimum of 55% marks.
For admission into the PhD in Economics course, students need to pass their Master’s with a minimum of 55% marks or 6 CGPA on the scale of 10. Furthermore, students who have qualified for NET, GATE, and SRF will be preferred for admission into this program.
