Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University Admission Overview 2026
Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) has started the admission process for the academic session 2026–27. The university is offering admission to various Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), Diploma, and PhD programmes. Students who wish to study at the university can fill out the application form through the official admission portal.
For most courses, candidates are required to appear for the DBUU CET entrance exam. The exam will be conducted on three different dates: 28 March 2026, 25 April 2026, and 30 May 2026. To register for this entrance test, applicants must pay a fee of INR 1,500, which is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted later. For admission to PhD programmes, candidates need to score a minimum of marks in the RET entrance exam.
Candidates who score the minimum qualifying marks need to appear for a personal interview conducted by the university. The Dev Bhoomi University conducts personal interviews to analyse the candidates' communication skills, leadership qualities, and overall aptitude. Final selection is based on both entrance exam performance and a personal interview. Students must also pay a non-refundable university admission fee of INR 7,000.
For eligibility, students applying for B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc, BBA and other undergraduate and diploma Courses must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board. For postgraduate programmes like M.Tech and MCA, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks.

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University Dehradun Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
It is mandatory for the students planning to enrol for any of the UG, PG, Diploma and PhD programmes of the Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University to complete the eligibility criteria for the particular course. Candidates need to ensure that they are completing the requirements, as in case of any discrepancy, their application forms might get rejected. The eligibility criteria for each course of DBUU are given below.
Eligibility Requirements for UG Courses: For admission to the programmes like B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BA, and more, completion of 10+2 from a well-recognised state and central board in the relevant discipline is required. Also, candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% of marks (45% for reserved categories) in their qualifying examination.
Eligibility Requirements for Postgraduate Programmes: The Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University admits only those candidates who have completed graduation from a UGC approved university with minimum aggregate marks in postgraduate programmes like M.Tech, MCA, MBA etc.
Eligibility Requirements for Diploma Programmes: The University offers a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Diploma in Architecture, Diploma in Hotel Management (Food Production), Diploma in Hotel Management (Bakery and Confectionery), etc. Candidates seeking admission to any of these must have passed the 10th examination or equivalent with 35% marks from a recognised educational board.
Eligibility Requirements for PhD programmes: Candidates must have a Master's Degree completed from a well-recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). Candidates are also required to appear for the RET entrance exam and candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET JRF, CSIR/SLET, or GATE will be exempted from the RET exam.
Apart from the PhD programmes, applicants are also required to secure minimum aggregate marks in the DBUU CET entrance exam for admission to UG, PG and Diploma courses.
