DES Pune University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

The following is the list of eligibility criteria that an applicant has to satisfy to secure a seat in the desirable course in the university:

The very basic requirement is to have 10th and 12th with at least 60% to 50%, and it is 45% to 55% marks for the reserved category, depending on the course chosen.
Applicants must have a valid score card of any of the following National Level Examinations: CAT, XAT, PERA, MH-CET, CUET, SAT & CMAT, or an entrance test which is conducted by the university.
For the B.Tech lateral entry to the second year directly, the applicant must have passed 3 years/2-year Diploma Examination with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for the reserved category). OR, must have passed B.Sc with the same percentile and also have done 10+2 with mathematics.
For the general category students, the minimum percentile is 50% at the 10+2 level from any recognised board, while for the reserved category students, it is 45%.
For the MBA, the university accepts a valid score card of any of the national-level entrance examinations, along with group discussion and personal interview.
Apart from the above mentioned criteria, the university itself also conducts and holds an entrance examination to test the eligibility of the applicant applying for the specific course.
