Candidates must have a required degree like 10+2 for UG programs and Bachelor’s degree for PG programs with valid entrance exam GATE, CEED, CAT and more.

DTU Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
DTU follows an eligibility criteria for admission that are detailed below:
Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering-related programs.
Candidates are required to have a minimum aggregate of around 60% in core subjects, though this may vary for different categories.
Students seeking undergraduate admission must appear for JEE Main and qualify with a valid rank.
For M.Tech programs, candidates must possess a valid GATE score along with a relevant undergraduate degree.
Candidates applying for MBA programs should have a recognized bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks and a valid CAT score.
Students aiming for PhD admission must have completed a master’s degree in a relevant field with 55%-60% marks and qualify through a written test and interview.
Eligible candidates from SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD categories receive relaxation in the minimum qualification marks as per government rules.
Students applying through lateral entry must hold a diploma or equivalent qualification in the related discipline with a required minimum percentage.
