DTU Admission Eligibility Criteria
DTU has specific eligibility criteria for admission that are mentioned below:
To be eligible for engineering programs, students must have completed Class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
Applicants generally need a minimum aggregate score of about 60% in these subjects and this requirement may differ based on the candidate's category.
For undergraduate admissions, students must take the JEE Main exam and obtain a valid qualifying rank.
Admission to M.Tech programs requires a relevant undergraduate degree along with a valid GATE score.
For MBA programs, candidates should have a recognized bachelor's degree with at least 60% marks and a valid CAT score.
PhD aspirants must have completed a master's degree in a relevant field, securing 55%–60% marks, and must also pass a written test and interview.
Relaxations in minimum qualifying marks are provided to candidates from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories with government regulations.
Lateral entry applicants should hold a diploma or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, meeting the specified minimum percentage requirement.
DTU UG Admission 2025
DTU offers various UG courses such as B.Tech, B.Des, BBA, BA etc in multiple disciplines including Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and more. Students who are interested in undergraduate courses can apply from March 31, 2025 to March 15, 2025. The candidates must have to pay a one time application fee INR 1500 for General Category and INR 750 for SC / ST Category. Approximate fee for UG programs ranges from INR 1,16,000 to INR 2,47,000. Students who are eligible and interested can apply online through the official website of the university.
Eligibility Criteria: Students must have a 10+2 marksheet with valid scores in entrance exams like JEE Main, UCEED.
DTU B.Tech Admission 2025
DTU also provides admission in B.Tech with various specializations including Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and more. Students who want to take admission in B.Tech at this university can apply from March 15, 2025 and the last date for application is March 31, 2025. The approximate fees for B.Tech is INR 2,46,700.
Candidates must complete 10+2 and valid JEE Main score followed by Joint Admission Committee (JAC). The application fees for this course is INR 1500 for General and INR 750 for SC / ST categories. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website with required documents.

DTU offers multiple PG programs, including M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, M.Des, and MA (Economics) across various specializations such as Data Science, Software Engineering, VLSI, Physics, Business Analytics etc. Admission for postgraduate courses starts on March 15, 2025 and the last date to fill out the application is June 15, 2025. The application fee is INR 1500 for General and INR 750 for SC / ST categories and annual fees range between INR 70,000 to INR 2,80,000.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a valid entrance exam score such as GATE for M.Tech, CEED for MA and M.DEs, CAT for MBA. Executive MBA requires 3 years experience along with a Bachelor's degree.
DTU M.Tech Admission 2025
DTU offers M.Tech admission with multiple disciplines that include Chemistry, Mathematics, Data Science, Design, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science for academic year 2025-26. Students must have a B.Tech with a valid score in GATE. Admission started from March 15, 2025 and the last date to fill out the application form is June 15, 2025.
