For 2025-26, admission in PGDM and Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is done on a merit basis. In the case of PGDM, Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST/DA) and a valid score of entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, CUET, CMAT, or GMAT. The final selection of the candidate is based on academic profile, test scores, and prior work experience, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal interview (PI). Applications are to be done online or at the institute with an application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 500 SC/ST/DA).
In the case of FPM, the candidate needs a postgraduate degree or professional assessment with at least a 60% score, a valid CAT/GMAT/GRE/NET score and a 5,000-word research synopsis. It is selected on the basis of the academic record, test score, level of presentation and performance of the interview.

The shortlist involves test score, academic background, work experience and quality of the presentation; in the short final list, the candidates come to campus and have a research proposal presentation and PI (typically in April or May).

Chandragupt Institute of Management Eligibility Criteria 2025
CIMP, has disclosed the eligibility criteria for PGDM, PGDM-IEV, FPM, and EFPM courses. For PGDM, eligible candidates must have a bachelor's degree with 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST/DA). Bachelor's degree requirement on PGDM-IEV also mandates the have one must have completed by 31 August, 2025 and must have a valid TOEFL or IELTS score with CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, or ATMA. In the case of FPM, a relevant Master's degree with 60% marks is mandatory, with temporary admissions accepted till September 30, 2025. The applicants should be holding a first-class master's degree in a relevant field and possess a minimum of five years of experience in the field

For the 2025-26 academic year, admission in the ongoing FPM program. Institute has disclosed the eligibility criteria. Candidates must have a postgraduate degree (in one of the disciplines like Management, Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences, Sciences, Commerce or Humanities) with at least 60% marks(equivalent CGPA). Eligible candidate must have a valid score of exams like CAT/GMAT/GRE/ NET.
The candidates will also be required to provide a research synopsis and present this to the selection committee. Selection will be made on academics, test scores, quality of the research proposal, and personal interview.
