Chandigarh University offers various types of courses at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. The UG course has a variety of specialisations, which are offered to provide industry-relevant knowledge. This university also offers industry-collaborated courses in MBA, MCA and engineering programs. The Chandigarh University courses and fees for the UG program range from INR 36,000 to INR 1,85,000 per semester. The fee structure is categorised on the basis of specialisation and type of course. The PG course costs between INR 40,000 and INR 1,98,500 per semester. The PhD course duration is 3 years, and the fee for PhD specialisations is INR 70,000 per semester.
To pursue any undergraduate degree, an applicant must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria. CU Mohali offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD programs with specific eligibility criteria depending on the course.
For Undergraduate degree courses, students must have completed their 10+2 with 45-60% marks (10+2% and stream vary as per the requirement of the course) from a recognised board.
For Postgraduate degree courses, students must have a bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects with at least 50-55% marks as per the requirements of the course.
PhD courses require a Master’s degree in relevant subjects with a minimum of 55% marks.
Chandigarh University offers UG, PG and PhD programs in various fields, including Engineering, Management, Computer Science, Pharmacy, and more. Chandigarh University admission forms have already been released for CUCET Phase 1. Registrations will be closed on 15th April 2026. The institute conducts the CUCET exam twice a year. Students get admission if they get a good score on the entrance exam. After exams are successfully conducted, the cut-off or merit is released, according to the number of available seats.
Candidates who want to take admission in UG programs must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50-75% marks, depending on the course. Admission at Chandigarh University Punjab is offered through CUCET at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programs. This entrance exam is held online, home-proctored, and is conducted in two phases a year. The exam lasts for 2 hours, and the last date for CUCET Phase 1 application is 15th April 2026. Students who appear for the CUCET may also be eligible for scholarships, offering them opportunities for financial assistance along with academic recognition.
