Chandigarh University offers admission to several Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses across various disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Science, and Technology. The CUCET entrance exam score is the primary factor used to determine admission to Chandigarh University UG courses. This exam is organised in two phases: phase 1 is from October to May, while the 2nd phase is from June to the last admission date. For BE and B.Pharmacy, CUCET is compulsory. Chandigarh University PG course admission process has commenced for the academic session 2026-27. Chandigarh University PhD admissions are based on marks scored in the written exam conducted by the university. Candidates with CSIR NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC NET-JRF, and GATE scores are exempted from the written exam. The basic eligibility criteria for the PhD program are a Master’s degree in the relevant field. Candidates can apply for the PhD program by visiting the official website, filling out the application form and paying the application fee of INR 1000. Chandigarh University's fee for the PhD program is 70,000 per semester.

The Chandigarh University application form is currently available in both online and offline modes. Candidates can fill out the application form for CUCET phase 1 till 15th March 2026. The application form is filled out online via the website and offline by visiting the admission offices. Candidates must provide their name, mobile number, and email address to make the registration online. After completing the registrations, candidates will get an SMS or an email of confirmation. The application form submission will be done after logging into the personal account using the mobile number and entering the received OTP.
