Chandigarh University Mohali Admission Overview 2026

Chandigarh University offers admission to several Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses across various disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Science, and Technology. Admissions are based on CUCET entrance exam scores conducted by the university, depending on the course. This entrance exam is conducted in two phases: from October to May, which is the first phase, and from June 2026 till admission (phase 2). Currently, the 2026 phase 1 admission is going on, and applications will end on 30 April 2026. The application fee for CUCET 2026 is INR 1,000. 

For Chandigarh University course admissions, candidates need to submit the application form on the official website by filling out their personal and academic details correctly. The application form is also available offline from the official admission offices or authorised centres. The cost of the offline application form is also INR 1000. 

Chandigarh University Mohali Admission 2026

The application form for admission to UG and PG courses at Chandigarh University has been started for the 2026 session. Aspiring students can fill out the application form before the last date of 30th April 2026, by visiting the official website. The applicants can apply online by paying the registration fee of INR 1000. This exam is conducted in two phases, and candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts per year. For the 2nd attempt, they need to pay INR 500 (only for candidates who already paid in phase 1).

To fill out the online application form, candidates need to go to the official CUCET website of Chandigarh University. The first step is to make registrations by creating a user profile. The registration process will be successful after receiving the email or SMS. Fill out the application form and pay the registration fee using the accepted payment methods. After completing the registration process, appearing in the entrance exam is the 2nd step, and only qualified candidates will be called for further processing.  

Before applying online, candidates must check the eligibility criteria, as registrations are accepted only from eligible candidates for all courses offered, including UG, PG, and PhD. The university UG courses include B.Sc., B.Arch., BALLB, B.Des., BE, BBA, etc., and PG degree courses include ME, M.Arch., MBA, M.Pharm., M.Sc., etc. The Minimum eligibility requirement for admission for UG courses is 10+2, and for PG courses, it is a bachelor’s degree. Admission is done based on the CUCET exam for all offered courses.

Chandigarh University Mohali UG Admission 2026

The CUCET entrance exam score is the primary factor used to determine admission to Chandigarh University UG courses. This exam is organised in two phases: phase 1 is from October to May, while the 2nd phase is from June to the last admission date. For BE and B.Pharmacy, CUCET is compulsory. The Chandigarh University admission process for UG courses has started. Admission to UG courses is done based on marks scored in the CUCET exam. This is an online exam of 2 hours' duration. 

Candidates can apply online for various UG courses like BA, BBA, BCA, BCom, etc. of their choice by visiting the official website. The last date to submit the phase 1 application form for Chandigarh University admission is 30th April 2026. To complete the application process, candidates are required to pay INR 1,000 as the application fee. The basic eligibility criterion to pursue any of the UG courses is Class 12, and the fee structure for UG courses ranges between INR 36,000 and INR 1,85,000, depending on the course and specialisation opted by the student.

Chandigarh University Mohali PG Admission 2026

Chandigarh University PG course admission process has commenced for the academic session 2026-27. Aspiring students can apply for various PG courses such as MBA, MTech, MA, MCom, MCA, etc., in online mode. Admission to Chandigarh University PG courses is based on the CUCET score or other national-level entrance exams accepted by the university. 

Candidates filling out the CUCET application form need to pay INR 1000 by using acceptable payment methods. The basic eligibility criteria to pursue any of the PG courses are a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks. The University offers PG courses with an average fee that ranges between INR 40,000 and INR 1,98,500, depending on the course and specialisation.

Chandigarh University Mohali PhD Admission 2026

Chandigarh University PhD admissions are based on marks scored in the written exam conducted by the university. Candidates with CSIR NET-JRF, DBT-JRF, UGC NET-JRF, and GATE scores are exempted from the written exam. The basic eligibility criteria for the PhD program are a Master’s degree in the relevant field. Candidates can apply for the PhD program by visiting the official website, filling out the application form and paying the application fee of INR 1000. Chandigarh University's fee for the PhD program is 70,000 per semester.

Chandigarh University Mohali Application Form 2026

The Chandigarh University application form is currently available in both online and offline modes. Candidates can fill out the application form for CUCET phase 1 till 30th April 2026. The application form is filled out online via the website and offline by visiting the admission offices. Candidates must provide their name, mobile number, and email address to make the registration online. After completing the registrations, candidates will get an SMS or an email of confirmation. The application form submission will be done after logging into the personal account using the mobile number and entering the received OTP. 

CUCET 2026 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay the INR 1000 as the registration fee for the first attempt and INR 500 for the 2nd attempt only for those who have already registered during the phase 1 exam. The application fee needs to be submitted via net banking, UPI, Credit Card, Debit Card, etc.

Step 2 – Choose the course and discipline of study in which you are interested.

Step 3 – Create a profile after successful registration.

Step 4- Download the prospectus by paying an application fee of INR 1,000.

Step 5 – Fill out the application form for the entrance exam through your Chandigarh University student login. 

Offline Process

Step 1- Candidates need to go to the offline admission centre to get the prospectus. 

Step 2- Fill out the application form and send it duly filled along with a demand draft of INR 1000 to the Admission Office, Chandigarh University, SCO 223, First Floor, Sector 36 D, Chandigarh, 160036. 

Step 3- Submit the application form to the admission office.
