2. Student Rules and Guidelines

• The placement cell supports and guides students but does not guarantee jobs.

• Taking part in placements is a student’s choice.

• Students who do not want placement support must inform the placement cell.

• Only students graduating in that academic year can register.

• Students must follow the given resume format and submit it on time.

3. Eligibility for Placement

• Students must clear all dues before registering.

• Students guilty of ragging or indiscipline cannot join placements.

• 75% attendance in pre-placement and aptitude classes is required.

• Students must attend training sessions to stay eligible.

4. Steps in the Placement Drive

• Notices about company visits are posted online for students.

• Students must attend the company’s pre-placement talk.

• Details like job role, salary and location are explained in the session.

• Students must attend all rounds if they choose to apply.

• Candidates must have ID cards, mark sheets, resumes and photographs.

• Punctuality is important. Latecomers are not allowed.

5. Discipline During Placements

• All communication with companies happens through the placement cell.

• The “One student, one job” policy is followed.

• If a student gets selected twice, they cannot sit for more drives.

• Students must check their offer letter and complete the required steps.

• Misbehaviour or cheating leads to removal from placements.

• The proper dress code must be followed for interviews.

6. De-Registration Rules

• Students may be removed from the placement process for:

  • Not attending placement activities.

  • Misbehaving or cheating.

  • Missing interviews without informing.

  • Low attendance in pre-placement classes.

  • Refusing to attend interviews more than three times.

7. Re-Registration

• Deregistered students may request another chance.

• They must contact their department and pay re-registration fees.

• The placement cell and department decide on approval.
