B.M.S College of Engineering, Bengaluru has a successful placement history and it has good career prospects to its students with the help of its placement and training cell. The placement process incorporates training pre-placement, internship and campus recruitment drives and industry interaction program. According to the recent 2025 placement report, a lot of domestic and global businesses have been involved in the placement process and are offering good remuneration packages to students across various engineering disciplines.
The most recent placement statistics shows that more than 383 companies visited the campus for recruitment and the total number of offers made were 1307. Out of 1307, 968 students were placed with the highest salary package of INR 51.5 LPA, and the average package stood at INR 11.4 LPA. The final placement indicates a good employment outcome among the college graduates.
The BMSCE placement cell is significant in equipping the students in terms of recruiting. It arranges training and aptitude testing, technical and mock interviews, and training on communication skills to enhance employability of the students. Besides final placements, the college even offers internship services to the learners in the course of their studies. During the recent placement cycle, various companies had provided around 775 internship opportunities to the students. Such internships assist students to acquire work experience and occasionally result in pre-placement offers (PPOs).
The recruitment process takes place in most top multinational companies and well-established organizations. Amazon, Adobe, Cisco, Oracle, IBM, Accenture and Deloitte are some of the best recruiters. The company hires the students in software development, data analytics, consulting jobs, core engineering and management jobs.
Computer Science, Information Science and Artificial Intelligence represents one of the branches of engineering that is offered the most number of jobs and better packages. Placements are also made to core engineering disciplines including Mechanical, Civil and Electrical but number of offers might be relatively less as compared to IT discipline.

BMS College of Engineering Placement 2024
B.M.S. College of Engineering is a VTU-affiliated college with good placement outcomes in 2024 in most of the branches. The Bio-Technology department got 17 students that were placed with 22 offers. Mechanical engineering registered 99 students placed and 119 offers with good industry demand. The Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering had 43 students offered 53 offers. Electronics and Communication Engineering had a great performance having 176 students placed and 218 offers. The Information Science Engineering registered the best results with 207 students placed and 259 offers especially because of the increased requirement in the technology industry. There were 29 students in Chemical Engineering who were offered 39 jobs. The branch of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning had the least number of students (6), yet it had 62 offers, which demonstrates a great demand in AI skills. Collectively, these findings indicate the good placement support and industry relations at BMS College of Engineering.

The BMS College of Engineering placement statistics for 2025 (ongoing) show good placement results across many branches. Computer Science Engineering is the most placed having 167 students placed and 242 job offers. Information Science Engineering is next with 157 students placed and 202 offers. Electronics and Communication Engineering also had a good performance of 153 students placed and 218 offers. The demand to work in AI professionals increased with 91 students receiving 137 offers in new technology areas, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Mechanical Engineering position was 67 and Electrical and Electronics Engineering position was 36 and 50 offers respectively. Good placement opportunities were also found in other branches like the Civil, Chemical, Aerospace and Industrial Engineering Management. The MCA and M.Tech postgraduate courses also placed 58 students and 59 students respectively with good career prospects of students.
