Birla Global University Overview

Birla Global University located in Bhubaneshwar, is one of the fastest-growing private universities in India. Established under the Birla Global University Odisha Act, 2015, it is a self-financed unitary university that is spread across a 30-acre campus. The University has seven schools that offer a range of disciplines at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD levels.

Birla Global University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students who want to get admission into any of the courses offered by the University should fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Candidates who want to get admission into the BBA (Hons) course should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA. Moreover, candidates who are appearing for their final year graduation exams can also apply.
Students who are interested in getting admission into the MBA course must have graduated with a minimum of 50% marks. Along with this, students need to have a valid CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, and BET entrance exam score.
For courses such as B.Com (Hons), students should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates might be called for a PI, if it is desired by the University.
Candidates who want to get admission into the MCA course should have passed the BCA with Mathematics at class 12th or at Graduation with a minimum of 50% (45% marks for the reserved category).
To get admitted into the PhD programs, candidates should have completed a Master’s degree in the relevant stream with a minimum of 55% marks(50% for the reserved category).
Students should have cleared the UGC-NET/CSIR-NET & JRF exam. If the students have a valid fellowship, they can appear for the personal interview directly.
