Birla Global University Eligibility Criteria 2026
Students who want to get admission into any of the courses offered by the University should meet the eligibility criteria given below:
For BBA (Hons) admission, students should have passed class 12th with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing in the final-year examinations are also eligible to apply.
Students who want to get admission into the B.Com should have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. They will also be called for a personal interview, if required, according to the University admission guidelines.
Candidates who have passed class 12th or are appearing for their final examination can also apply for the BAJMC (Hons) course.
Candidates who are interested in joining the BSc Economics (Hons) course should have completed their class 12% with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
Candidates who want to get admission into the MBA course should have graduated with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Students are chosen for this course through their academic performance, CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, and BET (BGU Entrance Test) scores, PI, and written ability test (WAT). Students who have work experience are also given preference during admission.
Those students who want to get admission into the M.Com should have passed with a 50% mark in their Graduation. Or candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Graduation examination can also apply for this course.
Students who have graduated from any recognised university, or candidates applying for the final year graduation exams, can apply for admission into the MAJMC course.
If a candidate wants to get admission into the M.Sc. in Financial Economics should have graduated in any degree with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, final year students can also apply for this course.
For admission into the LLM course, students should have graduated with a Three-year LLB degree from a recognised university. Or they should have graduated with a five-year degree with at least 50% marks for the general category (45% for the reserved category students).
Candidates applying for the MCA course should have passed with Mathematics in class 12th or graduated with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for the reserved category).
For the PhD in Management program, students should have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale. Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and Differently Abled will be given a relaxation of 5% marks. So, students need to have a minimum of 55% to 50% marks.

Birla Global University Bhubaneshwar offers a Bachelor of Business Administration course. It is designed as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The program is of 3 or 4 years duration with multiple entry and exit options. If a student exits the program after 1 year, they will get a certificate. After the 2nd year, students will be awarded an Advanced Diploma.
Likewise, after completing the third year, students will be awarded the Bachelor’s degree, and after the completion of 4th year, students will be awarded a Bachelor’s degree (Hons).
