For most undergraduate programs like B.Sc., BMLT, BPT, B.Optom, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Hotel Management, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/English as applicable, securing at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Professional degrees like GNM and Post-Basic Nursing need previous nursing degrees. To get admissions in post-graduate courses MSc in Physics, Botany, Microbiology, Chemistry, Zoology, agricultural science, food Technology, horticulture or MPT / MMLT, the candidates have to ensure that they have passed B.Sc or any other graduation degree with at least 50% (45% SC/ST) marks. Courses such as BBA, BCA, MHA and MPH need Class 12 or graduation in a related discipline with 50% aggregate for the general category and 45 % aggregate in the case of SC/ST.
