As admissions to the university are based on certain criteria that must be fulfilled at the time of admission, the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to the university are that a candidate must have completed his/her class 12th with a minimum aggregate mark from the required subjects.
However, the university accepts many entrance exams, as JEE Main is a centralised entry test for admission into various engineering courses at the university, and also the SRMJEE, which is conducted by the university.
