APG Shimla University offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and Diploma programs in fields like Engineering, Management, Commerce, Arts, Science, Law, and Hospitality. APG Shimla University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
Students who want to get admission into any of the courses offered by the University should ensure they fulfil the following criteria:
For the UG & PG programs, the candidates are required to complete Class 12 from any recognised board (State Board, CBSE, ICSE, etc.) with an aggregate of 40% to 50% marks for the general category and 35% to 45% for the reserved category in the respective subjects.
For the Postgraduate programs, a bachelor's degree along with 50% (45% for the reserved category marks is required.
For PG programs, such as M.Tech, MBA, LLM, MHM, MAJMC, M.SC, a valid score in the entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, GATE, GMAT, HPCET is required.
For the PhD program at APG Shimla University, a master's degree in the relevant discipline is required with a minimum of 55% for the general category and 50% marks for the reserved category.
