All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal is a government Medical College and Research Institute established in 2012 by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. AIIMS Bhopal is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). It received the “Kayakalp Award” in 2017 for its excellence in the Science and Medicine field. It has been ranked 38th in the NIRF Rankings 2024. The institute has 35 departments offering over 22 courses.
AIIMS Bhopal offers MBBS, BSc Nursing at UG level, MD, MS and MSc Nursing at PG level, DM and MCh at super-speciality level, and PhD at doctoral level in various specializations. Admission to all courses is based on marks scored in entrance exams such as NEET UG (MBBS), INI CET (MD/MS), INI SS (DM/MCh), and AIIMS Entrance Exams for BSc/MSc. AIIMS Bhopal placement drives are conducted annually for final-year students. According to the NIRF 2024 Report, the median package offered to Batch 2023 students was recorded at INR 13.44 LPA (MBBS), INR 18 LPA (MD/MS) and INR 8.64 LPA (MSc) respectively.
