The US-India Educators Roundtable was recently hosted by the Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. This event was a part of the TiE Global Summit. In this event, approximately 34 Renowned Representatives took part in the roundtable from the United States and various states of India. This was conducted to have a broad discussion about the upcoming stimulating Business Education and Institutional Strategic Reform.
The event was made successful and worth remembering because it recorded the presence and participation of multiple top-notch educational institutions like Amity University Punjab, Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology and Management, Gramotha, Jagrati Yatra, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Kanoria College Jaipur, IIS Jaipur, Houston Community College, Walnut Schools, TiE Tampa, TiE Atlanta, and TiE U Global Co-Lead, and the list includes more.
Professor N.D. Mathur, the President of Vivekananda Global University, wholeheartedly welcomed the esteemed delegates. At the event, Professor Mathur emphasised the importance of educational collaborations to structure the energetic, business-oriented minds and the most community-oriented educational institutions.
The panellist includes Dr. Paul Lopez, TiE Atlanta, and more. Surprisingly, the discussion was not old-fashioned, it was very interactive and engaging, wherein the orators taught the listeners the concept of teamwork and the advantages of hands-on experience. The speaker, especially Dr. Lopez, made it extremely important for the students to at least learn one of the ideal practices that will leave an impact on their lives in the future. The participants were engaged in proactive mutual aid and interdisciplinary learning.
The conversation was not restricted to conventional entrepreneurship, it extended to exploring new ideas, including regenerative economics, mission-oriented startups, and the changing function of educators as ecosystem facilitators. A distinctive feature of the session was the āSuperpower Exchange,ā where the institutional representatives recognized their individual or institutional strengths and collectively examined how these might be transformed into expandable best approaches across different regions.
Numerous creative concepts to instill a startup culture in students were developed during the discussions. An exceptional model was showcased by Vivekananda Global University, which has already implemented a credit-based Hackathon/Ideathon structure. Taking the reference with the model presented, the learners are educated to recognize actual societal issues, brainstorm solutions, and create startups integrated into their educational program, with the university providing access to backers and guides.
This effort is in direct alignment with Er's vision. Er. Onkar Bagaria is the Chief Executive Officer of Vivekananda Global University, whose primary aim is to produce job creators instead of job hunters, and this is done by including the concept of entrepreneurship in higher education.
Entrepreneurial training and strong mentorship frameworks became the key focus areas of the session domains where TiE Global is consistently working worldwide to enable teachers and organizations.
The roundtable was additionally enhanced by valuable input from Prof. DVS Bhangavanulu, Pro President of Vivekananda Global University, along with Ms. Malvika Dudi Bagaria, Director of Faculty of Management, who emphasised the importance of organized mentorship, interconnection, and innovation driven by values within the academic community.
The event, carried by the Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, the USāIndia Educatorsā Roundtable, has proven to be a dynamic gathering where different concepts, thought processes, and practical approaches were discussed under the same roof.
