UPCATET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test) is a state-level entrance exam for admissions to multiple undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in agriculture and technology courses in Uttar Pradesh. The UPCATET has been already done for the 2025 session. This year the exam was held on 11th June, for which application has been opened on 17th March 2025. Till 7th May 2025, but were later extended to 18th May 2025. Additionally, the last date to pay the UPCATET fee was 8th May 2025.
After the online application window closed, the authorities opened the correction window from 9th May to 14th May 2025. Once the correction windows were closed, the authorities released the admit cards, which the candidates could download from 27th May to 9th June 2025.
The UPCATET exam date for 2025 for undergraduate (UG) courses was 11th June 2025, and Postgraduate (PG) and PhD courses were held on 12th June 2025. Likewise, the application fee for the UPCATET exam was INR 1350 for Male candidates of the UR, OBC, and EWS categories and INR 1100 for female candidates of the SC, ST, and EWS categories.
Candidates applying for the UPCATET exam must be citizens of India and have a domicile in Uttar Pradesh. Along with this, the age limit was between 16-22 years old for candidates for most undergraduate courses. Whereas candidates applying for the BVSc & AH, the age limit was 17-25 years, and age relaxations are applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates.
For UPCATET, the minimum percentage General and OBC candidates must have at least 50% marks in 12th (47.5% marks for SC and ST candidates). But if the candidates want to apply for B.V.Sc. & A.H., candidates must have at least 50% marks in the 12th.

For the undergraduate programs, candidates must have passed the intermediate or its equivalent examination with the relevant subject combination.
If the candidate is applying for the postgraduate course, they should have qualified in an undergraduate course in the relevant subject combination.
The age limit for candidates applying for the UG courses, except B.V.Sc & A.H., is from 16 years to 22 years.
Candidates who want to apply for B. V.Sc & A.H programs must be 17 years of age and must not be above 25 years of age.
For PG courses, there is no minimum or maximum age restriction for students who want to apply for the exam.
Candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories will be given 5 years of relaxation in the upper age limit criteria.

The UPCATET exam application form 2025 was open from 17 March to 07 May 2025, which was later extended to 18 May 2025. Those candidates who didn’t fill the form till 7th May could now fill the form till 18th May 2025. Male Candidates from the UR, OBC, and EWS categories have to pay INR 1350, and female candidates of the SC, ST, and EWS categories have to pay INR 1100 as the application fee.

UPCATET Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The UPCATET is an offline (pen & paper exam) consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions, and a total of 800 marks was allotted for these questions, and the time duration to complete this exam is three hours. Moreover, the question paper is in English and Hindi. For postgraduate courses such as an MBA, the duration of the exam was two hours. There were 100 questions in the exam, and the total marks allotted to it were 400.
According to the marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Additionally, there are four groups of papers for which the UPCATET exam is conducted, and they are PCB, PCM, PAG, and PHS.
