The Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) is the entrance exam conducted by Tezpur University for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs. Candidates who wanted to apply to this University had filled out the online application from 3rd March 2025 to 30th May 2025(extended date). Once the application window was closed, the authorities opened the online correction window from 31st May to 3rd June 2025. It gave candidates the time to make changes wherever they felt necessary. Candidates who wished to apply for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs at Tezpur University were required to take the Tezpur University Entrance Examination. First, the PI or Personal Interviews were held for PhD candidates from 18th to 24th June 2025, and exams for all the other courses were conducted from 1st to 3rd July 2025 for all the courses and personal interviews. The online application window for this exam opened from 3rd March 2025, and the last date to submit the online application was extended to 30th May 2025.
Along with this, the correction window for the online application opened from 31st May to 3rd June 2025 to give candidates the chance to make changes to their application form. Additionally, the admit card came in the month of June, and the results will be out in the month of July, tentatively.

All those candidates who wanted to apply for different courses and get admission to Tezpur University. Below is a list of criteria that candidates must fulfill before they can apply for the Entrance exam:
Candidates must have passed the 12th class examination with a minimum of 60% from a recognised board.
Specific subject requirements will vary according to the courses, such as B.Tech programs require candidates to have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, but they have an option to choose a technical vocational subject instead of Chemistry.
Candidates belonging to the reserved categories will get a 5% relaxation in marks or equivalent grade point.
As per the provisions of AICTE, engineering diploma holders may apply for admission to the 2nd Year of the existing B.Tech programmes at Tezpur University.
Candidates with a GATE score will be given preference if they are applying for MTech programmes.
Candidates who want to get admission into MA or MSc programmes have to appear for the TUEE exam, which is a computer-based test.
For admission into MA/MSc programmes, candidates will have to give the TUEE 2025 entrance examination in CBT mode.
Furthermore, for admission into the MBA, candidates must have a valid CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT/CMAT score.
Candidates who want to apply for PhD programs at Tezpur University will be selected based on their performance in the TUEE exam 2025, followed by a Personal Interview (PI).
However, candidates who have cleared UGC-NET, UGC CSIR NET, JRF, SLET, GATE, CEED, or other examinations that are specified by the University are exempted from appearing Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) 2025, but will have to appear for the Personal Interview conducted by the specific department.

TUEE Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
The Tezpur University Entrance Examination conducts a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all its courses except PhD. There will be 50 MCQs in the question paper, and for every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 2 marks for correct answers. However, for every wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted, and candidates will get a 2-hour duration to complete their exam.

The TUEE Exam answer key was available to the candidates on the Tezpur University Question Key Portal from 9 to 10 July 2025. Candidates had to log into this portal by using their login ID and password. It helps candidates answer the key for the course that they have applied for, along with the question paper.
Once the candidate downloaded the answer key, they had to cross-check how many of the answers they had given were correct. It helped the candidates evaluate their performance and made them understand which areas are their weak ones.
