TS-PGECET Exam 2025: The JNTU Hyderabad, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, conducts the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test at the state-level for the students planning to take admission into postgraduate courses like M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, M.Arch, and Pharm.D in Telangana. The application process started from March 17 to May 19, 2025. The admit card was also released online on the official website on June 7, 2025, consisting of candidates' basic information like exam timings, exam centre, and rules and regulations. The exam is scheduled from June 16 to June 19, 2025, and the dates depend on the paper chosen by the candidates. The Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS-PGECET) is a state-level exam conducted for students planning to take admission into postgraduate courses like M.Tech, M.Pharmacy, M.Arch, and Pharm.D in Telangana. The application process is essential to participate in the examination, which began from March 16 to May 10, 2025, without a late fee.

The admit cards were released on June 5, 2025, containing important details like exam timings, venue, and guidelines. The results are expected to be declared in the last week of June 2025, after evaluating the final answer keys and objection submissions. These results will determine candidates' ranks and eligibility for the counselling process.

The TS-PGECET 2025 was conducted from June 10 to June 13, 2025, with different papers scheduled on different days. After the exam, candidates were given access to their Response Sheets and Master Question Papers along with the Preliminary Answer Keys to ensure transparency:

The students had to meet the following criteria for being eligible for the TS PGECET exam 2025:

  • The Candidate must be a citizen of India.

  • The applicant should belong to Telangana or Andhra Pradesh and meet the local/non‑local status regulations.  

  • There is no specific age limit for appearing in the TS PGECET.

  • A candidate from the General, EWS and the OBC should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate in their bachelor’s degree. 

  • A candidate from the SC and ST should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate in their bachelor’s degree.

TS-PGECET Exam Application Form 2025

The TS PGECET 2025 application forms were open on the official website starting from March 17, 2025, till May 19, 2025. Candidates were asked to fill out their personal and academic records, and exam preferences. They also had to upload a recent passport-size photograph and a copy of the scanned signature in a fixed format and size. After verifying all details, they paid the application fee of INR 1100 for the General/EWS and OBC categories and INR 600 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The application fee had to be paid online through any of the payment modes using a credit/debit card, netbanking, or UPI ID. Applications submitted after the deadline will require an additional late fee, depending on the past date.

TS-PGECET Exam 2025 Pattern and Marking Scheme

The TS-PGECET exam has 120 multiple-choice questions. Each question carries 1 mark, and there is no negative marking. Candidates must complete the exam in 2 hours (120 minutes).

TS-PGECET Admit Card 2025

The TS PGECET 2025 admit card for all the postgraduate programs was uploaded by the JNTU Hyderabad on the official website https://pgecet.tgche.ac.in/ on June 7, 2025. The Candidates could download it using their registration number and date of birth. The released admit card consisted of various exam-related details like the name of the candidate, roll number, the opted program details, exam date and timings, centre address, and exam-day general guidelines and instructions. Carrying the admit card and a valid, current photo ID (issued by the government) is mandatory for verification purposes.

For courses like GG, PY, CE, EE, FT, and AS, the exam was held on June 16, 2025. The response sheets, question papers, and provisional answer key were available for download from June 17, 2025, 5:00 PM to June 19, 2025, 5:00 PM. The last date to raise objections (if any) was June 19, 2025, by 5:00 PM.

For courses like EI, CH, TX, MN, AR, BM, and MT, the exam was held on June 18, 2025. The corresponding documents were made available from June 19, 2025, 12:00 PM to June 21, 2025, 12:00 PM. The deadline to submit objections was June 21, 2025, by 12:00 PM.

The TS-PGECET Provisional Answer Key 2025 was released shortly after the examination ended. With the Provisional Answer Key, Candidates could check their answers, calculate scores, and raise objections if needed within a set time frame. The final answer key was released after all the objections were reviewed and resolved.

TS-PGECET Result 2025

The TS-PGECET 2025 results were released by the JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education on June 26th, 2025. The score cards are available on the official website https://pgecet.tsche.ac.in.

The candidates could check their results online using their login details such as registration number, hall ticket number and date of birth. The scorecard showed the subject-wise score, total marks, and qualifying status. Rankings were based on the overall and subjective scores secured and were used to determine eligibility for the next round of counselling. 

TS-PGECET Cut-off 2025

The TS-PGECET Cut-off marks will be released after the counselling rounds are completed. The cut-off marks represent the minimum scores required for being eligible to get admission into the preferred colleges and courses. The cut-offs depend on the difficulty of the exam, availability of seats per college, total number of applicants and the overall performance of the candidates in the entrance.

The minimum cut-offs for the TS PGECET 2025 for the General category are 30 marks out of 120. However, scoring 90+ marks is considered a good performance in the TS PGECET exam. The candidates who perform well in the exam have a rather higher chance of getting shortlisted for admission to one of the top participating engineering colleges.
