The TG LAWCET exam, formerly known as the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test (TS LAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The TS LAWCET exam is conducted to provide admission in 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes in law colleges and universities in Telangana. 

To be eligible for the TS LAWCET, students need to complete a bachelor's degree with 45% marks for a 3-year law program and 45% marks in the 12th mark sheet for the 5-year law program.

Applicants had the opportunity until 30 April 2025 to complete and submit their forms online. Candidates filled out the registration form on the official website. The exam is a computer-based test with a duration of 90 minutes and is conducted in two sessions.

The TS LAWCET 2025 online registration began on 01 March 2025, with the initial deadline set for 30 April 2025 (without a late fee). However, the form submission window was extended until 26 May 2025, with late fee upto INR 4000 depending on the submission date. The TS LAWCET 2025 exam was successfully conducted on 06 June 2025. Interested candidates could access and submit the application form through the official website of TS LAWCET: lawcet.tsche.ac.in.

TG LAWCET Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Students should have a look at the eligibility criteria before commencing the online registration process. Below are the details of the eligibility criteria:

  • There is no age limit for the exam

  • For a 3-year LLB program, students must have completed a bachelor’s degree with 45% for general and 40% for SC/ST.

  • For the 5-year LLB program, general category students must have scored a minimum of 45% marks and SC/ST must have 40% marks in 10+2.

Candidates who wish to appear for the TS LAWCET 2025 entrance exam could access the online application form from 01 March 2025, with the initial deadline set for 30 April 2025 (without a late fee). However, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) provided an extended submission window until 26 May 2025, with late fees ranging from INR 500 to INR 4000, depending on the date of submission.

Applicants were required to visit the official website lawcet.tsche.ac.in  to complete the registration process. The application fee was INR 900 for General category candidates and INR 600 for SC/ST/PH candidates, payable online via debit/credit card or net banking.

Step 3: Then click on ‘Fill Application Form’ and log in using the payment reference ID.

Step 4: Fill out the form with the correct details of your name, academic details, and contact details.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.

Step 6: Now submit the form.

TG LAWCET Exam Admit Card

The TS LAWCET 2025 admit card was released by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) on 30 May 2025. Candidates could download their hall tickets from the official website lawcet.tgche.ac.in using their registration number, mobile number, and date of birth.

The TS LAWCET 2025 exam was conducted on 06 June 2025 in two sessions. Applicants were advised to download and print their admit cards at least two days before the exam to avoid last-minute issues. The admit card included important details such as exam center, timing, and candidate information, and it was mandatory to carry it along with a valid photo ID to the exam center.

Candidates need to follow these steps to download the  admit card:

Step 2: Click on the “Download Admit Card” on the home tab.

Step 3: Now log in using your credentials.

Step 4: Find the link to your course, and your admit card will be displayed.

Step 5: Then, check all the details on the admit card and download it.

TG LAWCET Exam Answer Key

The TS LAWCET 2025 provisional answer key was officially released on 11 June 2025 by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), following the exam held on 06 June 2025. Candidates can download the answer key, along with their response sheets and question papers, from the official website: lawcet.tsche.ac.in. 

The answer key allows candidates to review their responses and estimate their scores before the results are declared. If any discrepancies are found, candidates were given the opportunity to raise objections between 11 and 13 June 2025. The final answer key and results were announced on 25 June 2025.

TG LAWCET Exam Results

After taking the TS LAWCET exams on 06 June 2025, the results were released on 25 June 2025. The TS LAWCET results were released by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education on the official website. Qualified candidates moved forward to participate in the counselling and seat allocation process.

The Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test was conducted on 6 June 2025. To clear the TS LAWCET exam, the most important practice is consistency.   • You need to create a study schedule, giving proper time slots to every subject and prioritise subjects that you are weak in to give more time and effort to it.
