Special OJEE Exam 2026: It is a supplementary entrance exam conducted by the OJEE Board in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode for candidates who could not appear in the main OJEE exam or missed the first round of counselling. Special OJEE 2026, also known as 2nd OJEE, aims to fill vacant seats in various undergraduate and postgraduate professional courses like BTech, LeTech, MBA, MCA, MTech, MArch, MPlan and MPharma courses across government and private colleges in Odisha. The minimum qualification required is Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% for Reserved Category) for UG courses and a bachelor's degree with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) for PG courses. Candidates already holding a valid OJEE or JEE Main rank do not need to appear for Special OJEE 2026.

The 2nd OJEE 2026 application forms were released on 16 June 2026 on the official website ojee.nic.in and the last date for form fill-up is 28 June 2026. Special OJEE exam 2026 admit cards will be available in the 1st week of July 2026 before the examination that will be held from 13 to 15 July 2026. The OJEE 2026 counselling process has started from 24 & 25 June 2026 for different programmes. Round 1 mock seat allotment is scheduled between 30 June & 01 July 2026 and the Round 1 seat allotment will be announced between 06 & 07 July 2026 (depending on the programme). Also, Special OJEE counselling will be from 23 to 27 July 2026.

Candidates who missed the main OJEE exam can participate in the Special OJEE 2026 exam to be conducted from 13 to 15 July 2026 by the OJEE Board. Special OJEE application forms 2026 were released on 16 June 2026 and will be available on the official portal till 28 June 2026. Candidates can fill out the application form from the official website of OJEE before the last date. Once the exam is completed, the OJEE board will release the provisional answer key on the website. Students will be allowed to object in case of any discrepancy in the answer key. After reviewing the challenges, the OJEE board will upload the final answer key, following which no objections will be entertained. The OJEE board will declare the Special OJEE 2026 result, merit list and cut-off in early August 2026 and will proceed with the counselling process.

Special OJEE Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria for candidates applying for the Special OJEE 2026 exam are as follows :

  • For undergraduate courses: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Biology. 

  • For postgraduate courses: Students must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).

  • For lateral entry courses: Students must have a diploma or bachelor's degree in the relevant stream to pursue a lateral entry course.

  • Reservation: The OJEE board reserves seats for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as per government norms.

  • Age Limit: There is no age restriction for most courses, except for B.Tech Marine Engineering (maximum age: 22 years at the time of admission).

Special OJEE application forms are currently available on the official website of OJEE. Eligible candidates can fill the application form by 28 June 2026 till 11 PM. The Special OJEE exam dates are 13 to 15 July 2026.

Steps to fill out the application form:

Step 1: Students must first log in to their OJEE account using their registration number and password. 

Step 2: Candidates must fill in all the required details in the application form, including personal, academic and contact information. 

Step 3: After this, students need to choose the courses for which they want to apply. 

Step 4: Subsequently, students should pay the fee online through credit/debit card, net banking, etc.

Step 5: Candidates need to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, and left thumb impression in the specified format. 

Step 6: Students are guided to carefully review all the details entered and make any necessary corrections before submitting the application form.

The fee structure of the exam is prescribed by the board, and the application process is incomplete without paying the application fee. Students can pay the fee through a debit card, credit card, UPI or net banking. The application fee varies based on the number of courses applied for.

The OJEE 2026 exam is a computer-based examination held from 4 to 10 May 2026, while the Special OJEE exam 2026 is scheduled from 13 to 15 July 2026. Special OJEE admit cards 2026 are expected to be released by 1st week of July 2026 on the official website and students can access them using their application number and password. Applicants must carry their admit card to the examination centre with all the necessary documents. Students without an admit card will not be granted entry to the examination centre.

Step 1: Go to the official website of OJEE, www.ojee.nic.in 

Step 2: Look and click on the link "Special OJEE 2026 Admit Card Download" on the screen visible to you.

Step 3: Enter your application number and password to log in to your account. 

Step 4: Once logged in, the Special OJEE 2026 admit card will be displayed. Students can download and take a printout for the exam day. 

Special OJEE 2026 Answer Key

The OJEE 2026 answer key will be published on the official website and is expected to be released in the last week of May, followed by allowing the students to access an objection window in case of any discrepancy. Students must submit valid proof and a fee of Rs 100 per question, along with the objection raised. No challenges will be accepted after the closure of the window. After this, the final answer key will be released on the portal of the OJEE board a few days before the result is declared.

The results for the Main OJEE 2026 exams were out on 08 June 2026 on the official website and candidates can check their results and download scorecards using their application number and password. Candidates who are going to take the Special/2nd OJEE can expect their results in the last week of July 2026*. Students qualified in the OJEE exam can proceed further with the counselling process, whose registration started from 25 June 2026 for LE-TECH(DIPLOMA)/ LE-B.Sc./ Int. MBA and Working Professionals, while for M.TECH/M.ARCH/ M.PLAN/ MBA/MCA/MSc. Comp Sc./ MBA (Working Professional) started from 24 June 2026. Special OJEE counselling for all the programmes will start from 23 July 2026. After the seat allotment is completed, students have to report to the allotted college for the documentation process.

OJEE 2025 Cutoff

For the session 2025-26, cut-offs are issued by the conducting board on its official website. It is the minimum qualifying mark or rank required for admission to various engineering, management, and other courses in Odisha. Students must qualify for the cut-off to get admission into their desired college and to be eligible for seat allotment based on their rank, preferences, and available seats. The OJEE cutoff is influenced by factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of qualified candidates, the number of available seats, and reservation policies.

  • Students must familiarize themselves with the OJEE syllabus for their specific program (MBA, MCA, etc.). 

  • Know the exam structure, including the number of questions, marking scheme, and time duration. 

  • Candidates should identify the important topics within each section (Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Reasoning, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, General Awareness).
