The MAH CET LAW 5-year LLB exam was held on April 28, 2025, while the 3-year LLB exam was organized on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2025. The students should submit their application forms to appear in the exam, which is available on the official website cetcell.MHacet.org. The admit card was released on April 21, 2025, for the 5-year LLB and on April 28, 2025, for the 3-year LLB. Later, the results for the 5-year LLB were announced on June 4, 2025, on the official website. Meanwhile, for the 3-year LLB, it was declared on June 20, 2025.

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MAH CET Law) Exam is a state-level entrance test conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. It is organized for students planning to pursue 3-year or 5-year LLB programs in government and private law colleges in Maharashtra.  

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria (10+2 with 45% marks for the 5-year LLB and a bachelor's degree with 45% marks for the 3-year LLB) before appearing in the exam.

The MAH CET Law Exam is conducted by the State CET Cell for admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs. The examination dates have been declared by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. The 5-year LLB program exams was conducted on April 28, 2025, and the exam for the 3-year LLB program was scheduled to be held on May 2 and 3, 2025. 

To be eligible for the 5-year program, students must have completed their 12th standard with a recognized board, whereas students applying for the 3-year program must complete their bachelor's degree. 

The application process is online, where candidates need to register and submit their application forms through the official website. For the 5-year LLB program, the application form was released on 3rd January 2025, while for the 3-year LLB, it was released on 27th December 2024. The application correction window was opened from April 1 to April 3, 2025, for the candidates to make changes to their application forms.

Eligibility Criteria for the MAH CET Law Exam 2025

Before appearing in the MAH CET Law exam, students must ensure their eligibility for the exam. The list of eligibility criteria is given below:

For 5 years LLB program:

  • For the 5-year LLB, students must complete 10+2 with 45% marks from any recognized board.

  • There is no upper age limit to appear in this exam.

For 3 years LLB program:

  • For the 3-year LLB, students must complete their bachelor’s degree with 45% marks from any relevant field.

  • There is no restriction on the maximum age limit for the students.

The application form was released on 3rd January 2025 for a 5-year LLB and 27th December 2024 for a 3-year LLB on the official website of Maharashtra State CET Cell. Candidates who are interested can fill out the application form online before the deadline of 27th March 2025, Students must follow the guidelines and upload all the required documents during the process.

The process of filling out the application form is given below:

  • Go to the official website and register with your name, email ID, and mobile number.

  • Fill in the login details and enter all the required details in the application form.

  • Upload the copies of your photograph and signature and pay the application fee.

  • Submit the application form and save a copy.

THE MAH CET Law Exam consists of 120 questions (1 mark for each question). The duration of the exam is 120 minutes. For every correct answer, you will get +1, There is no negative marking for wrong answers and unanswered questions.

MAH CET Law Exam Answer Key 2025

The final answer key for the MAH CET Law Exam 2025 was released on 23 May 2025 for the 5-year LLB and 14 June 2025 for the 3-year LLB, after the completion of the exam by the State CET Cell. Firstly, the answer key will be available, followed by the objection window, which will be opened for the candidates to raise concerns, and in the end, the final answer key will be published. MAH CET Law Exam Result 2025

The results for the MAH CET Law Exam 2025 was announced one month after the completion of the exams. For students appearing for the 5-year LLB program, the results was announced on 4 June 2025, whereas for the 3-year LLB program, results will be declared on 20 June 2025.

MAH CET Law Exam Cut-off 2025

Cut-off marks for the MAH CET Law Exam 2025 are influenced by various factors like the total number of candidates appearing in the examination, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. The cut-off is released after the results and is used to determine eligibility for admission to law colleges in Maharashtra. 

In previous years, top colleges like GLC Mumbai and ILS Pune had cut-offs of approximately 100+ marks for the 5-year LLB program, whereas for the 3-year LLB program, the cut-offs were slightly less.
