Tips to Improve MAT 2026 Marks

Here are the following tips to improve marks and percentile in MAT Mock tests as well as in the exam:

  • Develop a strategy: Create a plan before starting to work, based on your practice test scores, and plan to work in sections that match your strengths first.

  • Manage the time: Watch the time; you will have no true time allotment per section, just keep in mind that if the question takes too long, flag it and move on.

  • Focus on accuracy: It is always better to be accurate first, then try to speed up later.

  • Take mock tests: Frequently take full-length mock practice tests to replicate the real exam experience, develop stamina for the exam, and become familiar with timing.

  • Review and analyse: Thoughtfully assess performance to identify strengths and weaknesses and create a study plan accordingly.

  • Strengthen concepts: Solidify understanding of basic concepts across all sections, but especially in Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

  • Memorise formulas and shortcuts: Try to commit important formulas, shortcuts, and theorems to memory so that it is easier to work quickly and accurately on the math problems.
