KEAM Entrance Exam 2026: KEAM 2026 (Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam) is a common entrance exam conducted by the CEE  for admission to various undergraduate professional programs in Kerala, including B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, and UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses. The KEAM 2026 exam will be held from 17 April to 22 April 2026 in a computer-based test mode. KEAM entrance exam registration was open from 5 January 2026 to 31 January 2026 until 5 PM and the KEAM correction window is currently open and will continue till 21 March 2026 (5 PM).

KEAM is the state-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, architecture and medical courses in Kerala. The registration process for the KEAM entrance exam 2026 started on 5 January 2026 and closed on 31 January 2026. Additionally, the deadline to submit all the supporting documents was 7 February 2026. After that, all the registered candidates can download the KEAM 2026 admit card as it was issued on 8 April 2026. The KEAM exam dates are set from 17 April to 22 April 2026.

The application form fees for the KEAM exam are INR 925 for Engineering or BPharm, INR 650 for Architecture/Medical & Allied for the General category. Meanwhile, the fees for SC candidates are INR 400 for Engineering/B.Pharm and INR 260 for Architecture/Medical & Allied and it is NIL for the ST category. 

In addition, the KEAM exam for Engineering consists of 150 questions, including 75 from Mathematics, 45 from Physics and 30 from Chemistry, to be completed within 3 hours. However, there will be 45 questions in Chemistry, 30 questions in Physics for the Pharmacy exam with a time limit of 90 minutes.

KEAM 2026 Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to appear for the KEAM entrance exam:

  • Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for KEAM 2026.

  • Applicants must be 17 years of age as of December 31, 2026.

  • No upper age limit 

  • Must have passed the 10+2 from a recognized board/university. 

  • Must have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. 

  • Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination. 

The KEAM 2026 application form was released by the CEE on its official website (cee.kerala.gov.in) on 5 January 2026. Aspiring candidates could apply online by 31 January 2026 until 5:00 PM. Along with this, candidates had to submit the required documents before 7 February 2026.

After the application deadline, the conducting authority of KEAM has opened the correction window and the last date is 21 March 2026 for candidates to rectify their errors in the application form and ensure every field/date is entered correctly.

KEAM Entrance Exam Marking Scheme 2026

The KEAM Exam follows the following marking scheme: 

  • Correct Answer: +4 marks 

  • Incorrect Answer: -1 mark 

  • Unattempted Question: No marks deducted 

  • Multiple Answers Marked: If a candidate marks two or more answers for a single question, it will be considered a wrong answer, and 1 mark will be deducted. 

  • Total Marks: The total marks for the KEAM engineering paper are 600, while the marks for the pharmacy paper are 300.

The KEAM 2026 admit card, or hall ticket will be released on 8 April 2026 and candidates can download it from the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in, by logging in with their application number and password. A printout of the admit card is required, as it will not be sent by post and it includes the exam venue and timetable details. 

Furthermore, if an application is rejected, it will appear as “Application Rejected” in the candidate portal without any mailed memo. At the same time, the defects will be listed on the portal homepage and must be corrected within the specified dates before the admit card download.
