IEMJEE is a university-level entrance exam conducted by the IEM Group and the University of Engineering & Management and offers admission for the Kolkata and Jaipur campuses. It stands for the Institute of Engineering and Management Joint Entrance Examination. Qualified candidates of this examination are eligible to take admission into various UG and PG courses such as B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, M.Tech. 

This examination is conducted in two different formats, one is online and the other is offline mode in multiple times. From January 15 to July 31, 2025, candidates are able to give this exam in online mode, and the deadline for the offline mode was 13th April 2025. Choosing exam time and date is totally dependent on the candidate’s preferences; they can select as per their convenience. It is held in online mode (Computer-Based Test) and also in offline mode on selected dates.

The eligibility criteria for the IEMJEE are students who have passed Class 12 with PCM and at least 60% marks. There is no age limit and no exam fee required to appear in the exam, which means it is completely free of cost and anyone who is interested can give the test. The exam pattern is similar to JEE Main, with 90 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The total duration is 2 hours, and there is negative marking for wrong answers.

IEMJEE Exam Dates 2025

The online exam has been done for the months of January, February, March, April, and May on the set dates. Such as the exam for the month of May was held from 2 to 31. Additionally, an offline exam was held on April 13 at selected venues across India. The results are typically declared within two weeks of the exam date. 

Candidates can choose their preferred date and time slot while registering. The online test is held in four daily slots: 

  • Slot Number 1- 9:30 AM-11:30 AM

  • Slot Number 2- 12:00 PM-2:00 PM

  • Slot Number 3- 2:30 PM-4:30 PM

  • Slot Number 4- 4:10 PM-6:10 PM. 

  • The offline exam took place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM

IEMJEE Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025

  • Before applying for the IEMJEE 2025, candidates must check if they meet the eligibility rules. These criteria vary depending on the course that the candidate chooses, undergraduate or postgraduate.

  • To understand the eligibility criteria for UG and PG, here is a simple breakdown of the requirements:

For Undergraduate Courses (like B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Sc)

For Postgraduate Courses (like MBA, MCA, M.Tech)

  • Must have passed Class 12
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for B.Tech
  • English and Mathematics/Computer Science for BBA/BCA
  • Minimum 60% marks
  • No age limit
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 50% marks for MBA.
  • Graduation with Mathematics for MCA.
  • B.E./B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% marks for M.Tech.
  • Final-year students can also apply.

IEMJEE Exam Application Form 2025 

The IEMJEE 2025 application process began in December 2024, and the process was completely online. Students willing to study at IEM and UEM campuses could apply by visiting the official website at iemjee.uem.edu.in before January 2025. 

The best part is that there is no application fee, and students are allowed to select when they want to take the test. The exam is held on multiple dates between January 15 and July 31, 2025, in both online and offline modes. Applicants must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for the course they are applying to, and double-check the details before submitting, since there is no provision for a correction window.

IEMJEE Exam Slot Booking 2025

The IEMJEE 2025 slot booking process allows candidates to select their preferred exam date, time, and mode during the registration process itself. The exam is being conducted from January 15 to July 31, giving multiple chances to students. The slot booking process must be completed while filling out the online application form on the official website iemjee.uem.edu.in. 

During registration, students need to choose from four daily time slots as mentioned above. Additionally, a special offline exam is scheduled between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM at selected centres across India. 

Once the preferred slot is selected and the form is submitted, the hall ticket is sent via registered email. The hall ticket will then include the exam date and allotted slots. Candidates are advised to book their slots early since availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. It's also important to note that the slot once booked cannot be changed.

IEMJEE Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme 2025

The IEMJEE 2025 exam pattern is for the students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate engineering and management courses. The exam includes multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from subjects like PCM. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours, and the paper is divided into three sections. IEMJEE Exam Syllabus 2025

The IEMJEE 2025 syllabus is mostly derived from the subjects of Classes 11 and 12. For B.Tech aspirants, the exam includes three main sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus is detailed and follows the NCERT curriculum, making it easier for students already preparing for national-level engineering exams. For other courses like MBA, MCA, and M.Tech, the syllabus is based on exams like CAT, WB JECA, and GATE, respectively. IEMJEE Exam Admit Card 2025

The IEMJEE 2025 admit card is issued after successful registration and sent directly to the registered email ID of the applicant. Since the exam is conducted over several months from January 15 to July 31, 2025, same way, the admit card is released in phases. For example, students appearing in January receive their admit cards in early January. Therefore, there is no one official date of the release of IEMJEE like any other exam. 

It includes the following details: 

  • Candidate’s name

  • Roll number

  • Exam date

  • Time slot

  • Venue

  • Instructions for exam day. 

Note:- Admit card can be downloaded from the official website by entering name and guardian’s email ID. 

IEMJEE Exam 2025 Results

The IEMJEE 2025 results do not have a definite one-day release date; it is generally released online within two weeks of each exam date. Since the exam is conducted in multiple phases from January 15 to July 31, 2025, candidates receive their results according to the session they appeared.  Candidates who appeared in January received their results on February 3, 2025, while those who took the offline exam on April 13 got their results on April 21, 2025. 

The results are published on the official website of IEMJEE, iemjee.uem.edu.in, and include details like the candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained, rank, and category. To check the result, students must log in using their registered name and contact details. The scorecard is essential for participating in the counselling process, which begins shortly after each result declaration.
