The BITSAT 2025 is a national-level entrance examination, which is also known as the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test. It is conducted by the university, BITS Pilani, for admission into its various courses such as B.E., B.Pharm, and M.Sc. programs. Through this test, candidates can take admission to its different campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, and Dubai. The exam is held in two sessions. Session 1 took place in May, and Session 2 in June. The application process for Session 1 started on January 21 and ended on April 18 for the academic year 2025. Whereas session 2 applications were accepted from May 26 to June 10, 2025.

Students can choose to appear in one or both sessions, and the higher score will be considered for admission. The exam is based on the NCERT syllabus of Classes 11 and 12. BITSAT scores are used for admission into various Integrated First Degree Programs, and only students who passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to appear for the examination. BITSAT is a computer-based test that lasts 3 hours and includes 130 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning. Each correct answer gives 3 marks, and each wrong answer deducts 1 mark.

The BITSAT 2025 Session 2 application form was available from May 26 to June 10, 2025, giving students a second chance to apply for admission into BITS Pilani’s engineering, pharmacy, and science programs. This session is ideal for candidates who missed Session 1 or want to improve their scores. The Session 2 exam was held from June 22 to June 26, 2025, and the correction window was open from June 13 to June 14, 2025.

For reference, Session 1 applications were accepted from January 21 to April 18, 2025, and the exam was conducted from May 26 to May 30, 2025.

To apply, candidates had to visit bitsadmission.com, which is the official website of BITS Pilani, register with a valid email and mobile number, fill in personal and academic details, upload scanned documents, and pay the fee online. The process was simple and fully digital, with options to select preferred exam centres and available time slots.

BITSAT Exam 2025 Admit Card

The BITSAT 2025 admit cards were released separately for both exam sessions by BITS Pilani on its official website a few days before the examination date. For Session 1, the admit card was made available on May 23, 2025, and the exam was conducted from May 26 to May 30, 2025. Similarly, for Session 2, the admit card was released on June 20, 2025, with exams held from June 22 to June 26, 2025.

The admit card includes important details like exam date, time slot, test centre address, and candidate information. Candidates who have successfully filed the application form without any errors and on time will be issued an admit card. The admit card also acts as an identity card and hall ticket for the candidates on the day of the examination. Note that entry to the exam hall is strictly prohibited without the admit card. Students are advised to keep multiple copies for safety and future reference

BITSAT Exam 2025 Answer Key

The BITSAT 2025 answer key is not officially released by BITS Pilani, but several coaching institutes and education platforms publish unofficial answer keys and memory-based solutions after each exam shift. These keys help students estimate their scores before the official results are declared. For Session 1 (May 26–30) and Session 2 (June 22–26), answer keys and question papers are available online in PDF format.

Students can download these PDFs from trusted sources that provide detailed solutions for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English, and Logical Reasoning. These answer keys are based on student feedback and expert analysis, so they may not be 100% accurate, but are useful for self-evaluation.

The BITSAT 2025 result was released in two phases for both the exam sessions. For Session 1, the result was declared on June 16, 2025, while the Session 2 result was announced on July 8, 2025. Candidates can check their scores by logging into the official portal, bitsadmission.com, using their application number and password.

The result includes the total score, number of correct and incorrect answers, and section-wise performance. Based on these scores, BITS Pilani will prepare a merit list, an admit list, and a waitlist for counselling and seat allotment. Students who meet the cutoff will be invited to participate in iteration rounds, where seats are allotted based on preferences, scores, and availability.

Candidates must submit their Class 12 marks and fill in course and campus preferences by June 30, 2025, to be considered for admission. Those allotted seats in Iteration 2 must pay the admission fee by July 19, 2025, to confirm their spot.

BITSAT Exam 2025 Cutoff

The BITSAT 2025 cutoff refers to the minimum score required for admission into various programs at BITS Pilani, BITS Goa, and BITS Hyderabad. These cutoffs vary by campus and course, and are influenced by factors like exam difficulty, number of applicants, and seat availability.

As of now, the official 2025 cutoffs have not been released by BITS Pilani. However, once released, candidates will be able to access the same from the official website of BITS Pilani.  Based on the final cutoffs from 2024, we can estimate the expected score ranges for each program. These scores are out of 390 marks, the total for BITSAT.
