The Application form for Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 was available on their official website from 4 April 2025, and the last date to fill out the application form was 5 May 2025 (with late fee). The exam took place on 28 May 2025. Candidates must have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce to be eligible to appear for Bihar B.Ed CET 2025. 

The Bihar Bachelor of Education Combined Entrance Test, popularly known as B.Ed CET, is a state-level teaching entrance exam of Bihar conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga. The entrance exam provides admission to students in various B.Ed programs, such as Regular and Distance. Moreover, it also provides admission to the Shiksha Shastri program, where candidates can either opt for distance or regular education mode with Sanskrit being the core subject for learning and research, which isn't available in regular or distance B.Ed programs.

LNMU invited applications for Bihar B.Ed CET from 4 April 2025, and the last date to fill out the application without the late fee was 30 April 2025. Students are advised to fill out the application form before the last date to be eligible to appear for the exam. The Bihar BEd CET 2025 exam was conducted on 28 May 2025.

Candidates willing to enrol for Bihar B.Ed CET should have at least 50% marks in their Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Social Science, Humanities, or Commerce. While filling out the application form, students need to pay an amount as an application fee, such as INR 1000 for General, INR 700 for Women/EWS, and INR 500 for ST/SC. 

Bihar B.Ed CET is a state-level teaching entrance exam in Bihar conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. It offers admission into various Bachelor's in Education programs, such as Regular, Distance, and Shiksha Shastri. The exam is accepted for admission in about 15 colleges affiliated with Lalit Narayan Mithila University. Some of them are Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, Jai Prakash University, Chapra, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Darbhanga, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, and more.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Before preparing or applying for Bihar B.Ed CET, students should first go through the minimum eligibility criteria required for it and review whether one is eligible or not. 

Here is a list of eligibility criteria required for candidates applying for different courses 

  • For Regular and Distance B.Ed programs, candidates need to have a minimum of a graduation with at least 50% marks in graduation or at least 50% marks in post-graduation in Science/Social Science/Humanities/Commerce. 

  • For Shiksha Shastri B.Ed programs, Candidates should have at least 50% marks in Shastri or BA with Sanskrit as the main subject and 50% marks in Shastri BA with Sanskrit as a core subject. 

  • There is no upper age limit for Bihar B.Ed CET. 

The Bihar B.Ed CET conducting body, LNMU, released the application form for the exam on its official website on 4 April 2025. Aspirants willing to appear for Bihar B.Ed CET were able to fill out the application form from the website directly until the last date, April 30, 2025, with a late fee option available until May 5, 2025.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 Admit Card

The Admit card for the Bihar B.Ed CET exam 2025 was released on 21 May 2025. An admit card is an essential document to carry, without which a candidate will not be able to enter the exam hall. Students who have filled out the application form can access the Admit Card from the official website.

With simple steps, candidates can easily download the admit card and are advised to carry a passport-size photograph at the time of examination along with the admit card.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 Answer Key

LNMU released the provisional answer key for Bihar B.Ed CET 2025 on 29 May 2025, a day after the exam was conducted on 28 May 2025. Candidates could download the answer key in PDF format from the official website biharcetbed-lnmu.in to cross-check their answers and estimate their probable scores. If candidates found any discrepancies, they were allowed to raise objections by submitting valid proof via email to cetbedhelpdesk@lnmu.ac.in until the deadline of 30 May 2025, 11:59:59 PM. After the objection window closed, LNMU prepared the final answer key based on the valid challenges. The final answer key and the result were announced on 9 June 2025.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2025: Result

The result for the Bihar B.Ed CET was announced on 25 June 2025 in online mode. Students were able to access their results on the official website of LNMU by entering their registration number and other details. The result will include the candidate's name, marks obtained, score, and rank. Candidates who qualify will proceed for counselling and seat allocation. 

To download the result, students should:- 

  • Visit the official website of Bihar B.Ed CET. 

  • Select the result section 

  • Fill in your credentials, such as your login ID and password.

  • Save and download the result. 

Cut-off Marks refer to the minimum score or marks required to qualify for the exam. The exam conducting body releases the cut-off marks on its official website. In 2025, the cut-off marks for Bihar B.Ed CET were announced in July 2025. 

Cut off marks are determined by various factors like, number of questions, the difficulty level of the paper, the number of aspirants applying, and many more.

Before starting the actual preparation for Bihar B.Ed CET, candidates should make a proper strategy that will help them stay determined and motivated throughout the journey.

Here are some of the preparation tips that you can apply to crack the Bihar B.Ed CET 

  • The first step is to understand the exam. Know about its exam pattern, marking scheme, syllabus, and more 

  • Create a study plan and dedicate a specific amount of time to your subjects every day, irrespective of any weekends. Prioritise the subjects you are weaker at and study them part by part. 

  • Include mock tests, practice papers, and sample papers for better practice. It will help you understand the difficulty level and pattern of the question paper. And will also help in monitoring your preparation.
