AUCET 2025: The Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) was a state-level examination organized by Andhra University. Students willing to pursue postgraduate programs in fields like Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, and Engineering could apply for the exam. To be eligible for the exam, students were required to have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree. 

The application form for the AUCET 2024 exam was available from 27 March 2024. Candidates who completed the registration could download their admit cards starting from 01 May 2024 via the official website of Andhra University. The exam was conducted as an offline pen-and-paper test, comprising 100 objective-type questions.

Note: The AUCET exam has been discontinued and has been replaced by the AP PGECET exam for admission into the various postgraduate programs.

The AUCET exam is conducted for PG courses such as MA, M.Com, M.Ed, M.Tech, and M.Sc. To be eligible for this exam, students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor's degree from any recognized university. There was no upper age limit for appearing in the exam.

Interested candidates submitted their application forms online through the official website from 27 March 2024 to 25 April 2024. The AUCET 2024 exam was held on 3 May 2024. The correction window for AUCET 2024 was also provided, allowing candidates to make necessary changes to their application forms.

The AUCET 2024 admit card was released on 01 May 2024, and candidates downloaded it from the official website of Andhra University. The preliminary answer key was released after the exams were conducted, and candidates could raise objections against it for a short window.

Eligibility Criteria for AUCET Exam 2025

Before starting their preparation for the AUCET exam, candidates must check the eligibility criteria:

  • Candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognised college.

  • This exam is applicable to Indian citizens only.

  • There is no upper age limit for appearing in the AUCET exam.

The application form for the AUCET 2025 exam was released on 27 March 2024 at the official website audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in. Interested students submitted their applications online before the last date, 25 April 2024. Applicants had to complete the process within the given timeframe to secure a spot to appear in the exam.

Here are the Steps to follow while filling out the Application Form. 

Step 1: Registration: Visit the official website of Andhra University and fill in your personal details.

Step 2: Login: Login with your registered email and password.

Step 3: Personal and academic details: Fill in your personal academic details like date of birth, gender, and category. 

Step 4: Choose exam preferences: Select the course for which you are applying.

Step 5: Upload documents: Upload all your documents as per the need of AUCET. 

Step 6: Pay the application fee: Pay the application fees and save the screenshot for future reference.

Step 7: Review and submit: Read your application form and click on submit.

AUCET Exam 2025 Pattern and Marking Scheme

The AUCET Exam consists of 100 questions with 100 marks in total (1 mark for each question). The duration of this exam is 90 minutes. Students get +1 for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking.

The admit card for AUCET 2024 was released on 01 May 2024. Candidates who had applied for the exam downloaded their admit cards from the official website of Andhra University. The admit card was a crucial document for entry into the examination hall, so candidates were required to carry it with them on the day of the exam.

How to Download the Admit Card for the AUCET Exam 2024

Follow these steps to download your admit card from the official website for the 2024 session.

AUCET Exam Answer Key 2024

The AUCET 2024 answer key offered candidates a valuable resource for assessing their performance. Released in two stages—preliminary and final—it served as an essential tool for estimating scores and gauging admission prospects.

The preliminary answer key was released on 06 May 2024, shortly after the exam held on 05 May 2024. Candidates were given the opportunity to review the key and submit objections between 06 May and 08 May 2024 in case of any discrepancies.

After evaluating the challenges submitted, the authorities released the final answer key on 09 May 2024, which formed the basis for result declaration on the same day.

AUCET Exam Result 2024

The results for AUCET 2024 were announced on 09 May 2024. Candidates checked their results on the official website of Andhra University by entering their application number and other required details.

Following the result declaration, the counseling process began to assist students in securing admission into their chosen postgraduate programs, including MA, M.Com, M.Sc, M.Ed, and M.Tech.

AUCET Exam Cut-off 2024
