Vikram Sarabhai Institute of Engineering & Technology has different eligibility criteria for both B.Tech and MBA programs. Candidates must meet the required academic qualifications before applying for admission.

B.Tech Program Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for the B.Tech program must have completed Class 10 and Class 12 from a recognised state or central board. Students from the general category must have at least 45% marks and there is a 5% relaxation for the reserved categories. Candidates from reserved categories need a minimum of 40% marks.

Candidates who have taken any engineering entrance exams such as JEE Main can also apply for B.Tech admission at VSIET. Selection is based on the candidate's eligibility, entrance exam performance and the counselling process conducted through AKTU.

MBA Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised or UGC approved university to get admission to the MBA program at VSIET. Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks is required to apply.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the national-level entrance examinations like CAT and MAT. The selection procedure of the institute includes a Personal Interview (PI). Vikram Sarabhai Institute of Engineering & Technology (VSIET) provides merit based scholarships to the deserving candidates pursuing B.Tech and MBA programs. The scholarships are designed to support the students who have a strong academic background and provide financial assistance towards their tuition fees.

Scholarships are offered for a limited number of seats and are subject to verification of documents and management approval for availing any scholarship benefit. Students will also have to meet the required eligibility and continuation criteria to receive the scholarship in future years.

1. Academic Scores Based Scholarship for B.Tech Program

B.Tech students can avail themselves of a scholarship based on their Class XII PCM percentage. Students with 75% or above can apply for the scholarship. 

2.  JEE Main Scholarship for B.Tech Program
Students who have qualified the JEE Main exam with a percentile of 75 or above can apply for a scholarship. The scholarship amount varies based on the student's JEE Main percentile, as shown in the table below

Scholarship Continuation Criteria for B.Tech
Students who want to continue receiving the scholarship in the next academic years must maintain a minimum 8.0 CGPA or 80% marks in previous academic session. They should also have at least 80% attendance and should not have any ongoing backlogs or any disciplinary cases.

3. MBA Scholarships
