VVIT University was established in 2007 and is located between Guntur and Vijayawada in the capital region of Amaravati, AP. VVIT University offers courses such as B.Tech, BBA, MBA, M.Tech, and MCA. Furthermore, it is affiliated with the JNTU Hyderabad and has approval from the AICTE.
Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology VVIT Guntur has been accredited with an ‘A’ grade by NAAC. The B.Tech program offered by the Institute is NBA-accredited. Today, the VVIT Guntur Faculty has risen to 345 teaching staff and 225 non-teaching staff who strive to fulfil the vision of VVIT. Currently, it has more than 6000 students who are a part of this Institution.
Since 2014, VVIT University has been recognised as one of the nodal centres for skill development programmes of APSSDC, the government of Andhra Pradesh. In 2016, Siemens India established the Centre of Excellence through an MOU with APSSDC.
Additionally, other facilities available to the students at the VVIT Campus are libraries, AC classrooms, hostels, transport facilities, a mineral water plant, seminar halls, an indoor sports arena, outdoor grounds with an athletic track, and others.

VVIT University Guntur offers courses such as B.Tech, BBA, MBA, M.Tech, and MCA. Admissions to these courses are based on merit and an entrance exam. Students who want to get admission into any of these courses should fill out the VVIT application form using their VVIT Login when the admission window opens. VVIT University invites applications for Admissions 2026 across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Along with filling out the online application form, students need to qualify for the EAMCET examination. This year, the EAMCET 2026 exam will happen on 4th to 5th May 2026 for engineering courses, and 9th to 11th May 2026 for Agriculture and Pharmacy.
For admission into the PG courses, such as M.Tech, students need to have a valid GATE score and a valid rank obtained in PGECET. Whereas MCA students need to qualify for the AP ICET exam, which will happen on 2nd May 2026.

- For the B.Tech Program
Eligibility: Students need to pass class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and score a minimum of 60% marks (55% for the reserved category). Along with this, students need to have a valid percentile in the VVIT University Admission Test (VVITAT 2026) or have a valid rank in the State government entrance test in Engineering (EAPCET 2026 for AP students).
- For BBA (Hons/Hons with Research) & specialisation in AI
Students who want to get admission into this course should have scored a minimum of 60%(55% marks for the reserved category). They should have studied subject combinations, such as Mathematics, Physics, & Chemistry or Biology, Physics, & Chemistry, or Mathematics, Economics, & Commerce.
- For an MBA with Specialisation in AI
Students who want to get admission into this course should have scored a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for the reserved category) during their graduation.
- For M.Tech Program
Students who want to get admission into this course should have passed the BE/B.Tech course with at least 60% (55% for the reserved category). They also need a valid GATE rank or a PGECET 2026 rank.
- For the MCA Program
Students who want to get admission into the VVIT MCA program need to have a graduate degree in any of the courses, such as BCA, B.Sc in CS/IT, BE, or B.Tech. They need to score a minimum of 60% marks (55% for the reserved category) in their Bachelor’s. Furthermore, they should have studied Mathematics in class 12th or at the Undergraduate level.
