Transportation Fee: Candidates living in Dehradun can opt for Transportation facility and the Transportation fees is INR 29,000 annually. There is no refund on withdrawal.

12. Hostel UPES Dehradun Security Deposit: Candidates need to pay INR 10,000 which is refundable and needs to be paid during registration.
13. Consumable Fee: INR 50,000 (one-time) only for the BBA Aviation Management programme.
14. Training and Certification Fee: UPES University conducts short-duration industrial tours/training and/or online training for providing the real-industry exposure of the field to the candidates. The training leads to the certification in all programmes like M.Sc. Applied Geology/M.Tech Chemical Engineering/M.Sc. (School of Health Sciences and Technology)/MA (School of Liberal Studies and Humanities)/MBA (All Streams – excluding MBA GPP). For the training and certification fees, candidates are required to pay INR 29,500 in the 2nd semester of the programmes.
UPES University Dehradun Scholarships and Financial Aid
The UPES University Dehradun also offers scholarships as well as financial aid to the students so that they can learn and complete their studies. UPES Dehradun provides different scholarship schemes as well as financial aid to the students. Candidates can check the scholarships offered by UPES Dehradun from the section given below:
Entry-Level Scholarship: The Entry-Level Scholarship is for the new BBA students who just passed their 12th class. For availing the Entry Level Scholarship Scheme, candidates must have scored well in 12th (CBSE/ICSE/State Board). Candidates who enrol in the Global Pathways Programme (GPP) and later shift to the regular programme and vice versa are not eligible for the Entry-Level Scholarship Scheme. Students will get 10% to 30% off their first-year tuition fees.
Extra advantage: 25% of these scholarships are reserved for children of Army, Navy, Air Force, or Paramilitary personnel.
MBA Scholarship: The MBA Scholarship scheme is only for regular MBA students. Candidates having 80% or more in their graduation will get 20% off tuition fees every semester in the first year. There are only 100 seats available for the MBA Scholarship scheme and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, candidates enrolled for Global Pathways Programmes are not eligible for the MBA Scholarship scheme.
Domicile Scholarship (for BBA & MBA programmes): The Domicile Scholarships are for the students who are permanent residents of Uttarakhand. To avail of the Domicile Scholarship scheme, candidates need to show their domicile certificate and must have completed their 12th from CBSE/ICSE. Students enrolled for the Global Pathways Programmes (GPP) are also eligible for this scholarship programme and candidates will get a 25% tuition fee waiver every semester (not just the first year). Also, 25% of seats in the Domicile Scholarship Scheme are reserved for Uttarakhand students.
Jyoti Scholarship (Freeship): In the Jyoti Scholarship scheme candidates will get a 100% academic fee waiver for the first year. But for availing this scholarship scheme, candidates need to have 80% marks in their 10+2 and graduation. Also, family income must be less than INR 8 lakh per year, and candidates' age must be below 20 years for the BBA programme or 25 years for the MBA programme. Only 51 seats are reserved for regular programmes, which will be awarded on a merit basis. Candidates are also required to submit their Income Tax Return (ITR) of both parents OR a Family Income Certificate and a one-time refundable security deposit of INR 20,000 at the time of admission.
Employee Ward Scholarship: The UPES Dehradun also offers the Employee Ward Scholarship scheme to the candidates whose parents are permanent employees at UPES Dehradun. Candidates will get 75% off on tuition in the first year of a BBA, MBA, or Part-time PhD programme. All regular employees of UPES Dehradun (Faculty & Non-Faculty) are eligible to avail this scholarship scheme for a maximum of two children. To avail of the scholarship in the subsequent years, the ward should not have any disciplinary case against him/her and should follow all the rules and regulations of the University.
Vijay Sports Scholarship: UPES Dehradun offers the Vijay Sports Scholarship Scheme for sports champions. Candidates who have won medals or participated in a national or international-level tournament in the last 2 years (in recognised sports) will get a 35% to 100% waiver on the first year's tuition fee.
Academic Performance Scholarship: The Academic Performance Scholarship scheme is for the BBA, MBA and Global Pathways programmes. This scholarship scheme will be awarded to the candidates who are in the top 10% of each programme and candidates who have scored 8.5+ CGPA in their graduation with no supplementary exams. Candidates who complete the eligibility criteria will get 10–20% off in tuition fees every year.
Alumni Scholarship (MBA & Part-time PhD): Candidates who have already graduated from UPES Dehradun in 2020 or later and complete the eligibility criteria of the university will get 50% off tuition fees for the entire course. Also, there is no alumni fee.
Employee Sibling Ward Scholarship: The Employee Sibling Ward Scholarship is for the wards of siblings of employees working at UPES Dehradun. As a UPES Dehradun employee, candidates will get 50% off their first-year tuition for BBA, MBA, and PhD programmes.
Employee Spouse Scholarship: The Employee Spouse Scholarship is for the spouse of a UPES Dehradun employee. The Employee Spouse Scholarship scheme provides 50% off in the first-year tuition fees of the BBA, MBA, and PhD programmes. In any case, if the employee resigns or is terminated from the service, the spouse will have to pay the full amount of fees payable to the University after leaving the University.
International Students Scholarship: UPES Dehradun also offers scholarships for foreign students. To avail of the International students scholarship scheme, candidates must have completed their first year of graduation without any supplementary exams and must have 75% attendance. Along with that, candidates must not have any disciplinary issues and candidates who meet these criteria will get a 10–30% tuition fee waiver from the second year onwards.
Sherryl Kintu Scholarship (BBA only): The Sheryl Kintu Scholarship Program was established to honour the legacy of Sheryl Kintu and recognise her passions and interests at UPES Dehradun. This scholarship scheme is provided to BBA graduates only and candidates must be Indian citizens. Also, candidates must not be more than 21 years old and family income must not be more than 8 lakh along with that, candidates have to write a 300-word personal statement explaining why they deserve it. Students who complete the eligibility criteria will get a Full first-year scholarship (100% tuition fee).
Fellowships for M.Tech and M.Des Programmes: The UPES University Dehradun offers fellowships for the candidates who enrolled for the M.Tech and M.Des programmes, which are as follows:
Candidates who enrol for the M.Tech programme with a valid GATE Percentile of 75 and above are eligible for the fellowships of INR 12,400 per month (from August 2025 to May 2026). Apart from this, all students will also get the research grants of up to 50,000 towards outcome-based research, as per the rules and regulations set by the university.
The students enrolled in the M.Des programme will get a teaching assistantship of INR 3,000 Per month.
