The University of Technology was established by the Government of Rajasthan through the State Legislature under Act No. 28 of 2017. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is sponsored by Deepshikha Kala Sansthan, Jaipur.
It offers a wide range of UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral-level programs. The offered courses are BA, B.Sc, B.Lib, MA, M.Sc, etc. These courses are offered in different streams, like Engineering & Technology, Law, Pharmacy, Commerce, and many more. Admission to these courses is based either on merit or entrance exam scores.
Spread across 30 acres of land, the university provides various facilities for its students, such as libraries, laboratories, an auditorium, IT infrastructure, and a sports centre. The university provides a diverse selection of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various domains, including Arts, Science, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. Admission for these courses is open now, and the last date to apply online is October 2025 (Tentative).
Some of the popular programs include B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BA in English, B.A. LLB (Integrated), B.Sc in Biotechnology, LLB, and others. Admission to the UG programs is based on the marks secured by the students in Class 12. Completion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory for PG admission.
Furthermore, the fees for the respective programs range between INR 20,000 and INR 1,25,000 per year. While applying for admission, students must pay an application fee of INR 1,500 for Diploma and Graduation programs and INR 2,400 for PhD programs.

The University of Technology provides various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma courses with particular eligibility for the 2025 session.
For UG admission, students must have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in related subjects with a minimum of 45% marks for PG programs.
MBA admission requires completion of a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category).
Courses like M.Tech. require a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree by securing at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
A diploma in Engineering requires students to pass Class 10th or the SSC examination
For B.A. LLB., students must have passed the 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.
