The University of Technology was established by the Government of Rajasthan through the State Legislature under Act No. 28 of 2017. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The university is sponsored by Deepshikha Kala Sansthan, Jaipur.
It offers a wide range of UG, PG, Diploma, and Doctoral-level programs. The offered courses are BA, B.Sc, B.Lib, MA, M.Sc, etc. These courses are offered in different streams, like Engineering & Technology, Law, Pharmacy, Commerce, and many more. Admission to these courses is based either on merit or entrance exam scores.
Spread across 30 acres of land, the university provides various facilities for its students, such as libraries, laboratories, an auditorium, IT infrastructure, and a sports centre. Along with this, there are separate hostels for both boys and girls with various essential amenities, like drinking water, medical facilities, etc.

University of Technology Admission Overview
The university provides a diverse selection of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various domains, including Arts, Science, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, etc. Admission for these courses is open now, and the last date to apply online is October 2025 (Tentative).
Some of the popular programs include B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BA in English, B.A. LLB (Integrated), B.Sc in Biotechnology, LLB, and others. Admission to the UG programs is based on the marks secured by the students in Class 12. Completion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory for PG admission.

University of Technology Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025
The University of Technology provides various Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Diploma courses with particular eligibility for the 2025 session.
For UG admission, students must have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in related subjects with a minimum of 45% marks for PG programs.
MBA admission requires completion of a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category).
Courses like M.Tech. require a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree by securing at least 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates).
A diploma in Engineering requires students to pass Class 10th or the SSC examination
For B.A. LLB., students must have passed the 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks.

University of Technology Scholarships 2025
The University of Technology is dedicated to making sure that financial barriers do not restrict quality education. The university has established a comprehensive scholarship scheme. The scheme includes financial support for underprivileged target groups, for example, orphans, persons with disabilities, and the wards of defence personnel.
Scholarships are awarded based on merit in qualifying exams, central and/or state board results, and national-level entrance exam scores. Besides general scholarships, special scholarships are available under the headings of special schemes which promote higher education for girl children.
