UBS Panjab Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria at UBS Panjab vary based on the s. Here is the eligibility criteria mentioned below:  

• For the PhD, students must have a postgraduate degree with 55% of marks (general) and 45% for reserved categories, along with a valid score in UGC NET-JRF, GATE, and GPAT.

• The M.Com (Hons) degree requires a Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration with 50% marks and a valid score in CET (PG). 

• The minimum marks for admission to the MBA  are 50% (45% for the reserved category) in a bachelor’s degree. Along with that, candidates are required to appear for the CAT entrance examination. 

• Candidates who appeared for the final examination conducted by the Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants or the Company Secretaries of India or England can take admission in the MBA. 

• The AIME examination with 50% of marks is also a requirement for an MBA. 

• Students who pass the diploma examination with 60% of marks and 5 years of research/professional experience can also take admission in the MBA at UBS Panjab. 

• For the MBA in Executive, a minimum of 50% marks in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any discipline, along with an executive position in any industrial establishment with an NOC from the current employer.

UBS Panjab has designed an MBA (Executive)  specially for working professionals. For admission to the MBA Executive, University Business School (UBS) conducts the entry-level examination, which is PU-CET. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in a bachelor’s or master’s degree from any discipline.

After passing the entrance exam of Panjab University, candidates are selected for the group discussion to assess a candidate's communication skills, leadership potential, teamwork, and critical thinking ability.

The last step for admission to the MBA Executive of UBS Panjab is a personal interview, which gives students a platform to showcase their talent and experience. However, through the personal interview, a university also gains insights into the candidate's personality. 

UBS Panjab M.Com (Hons) Admission 2025

University Business School is expected to start inviting the application forms of the students for M.Com (Hons) from January 2026 (tentative), and the last date for submitting the application forms can be February 2026 (tentative). For enrolling in the M.Com (Hons), candidates are required to complete the basic eligibility criteria, which include a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks from a recognised university.

Apart from this, the admission is also based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exams like CET (PG), which is later followed by the group discussion and personal interview. After all these processes, the university releases the merit list of the selected candidates. 

UBS Panjab MBA Admission 2025

The MBA is offered at UBS Panjab in different specialisations, such as human resources, entrepreneurship, international business, and business data analytics. The admission for the MBA at UBS is expected to start from January 2026 (tentative), and candidates need to submit the application forms to the university by February 2025. 

The admission to the MBA of UBS Panjab is based on the marks scored by an applicant in the CAT Entrance Examination. Apart from this, candidates are also required to score at least 50% of marks in their graduation degree for admission to the MBA at UBS. 

UBS Panjab PhD Admission 2025

University Business School only accepts the application forms of the candidates who have completed their postgraduate degree with 55% of marks, and applicants from the reserved category need to have 50% of marks in the PG degree. Along with the PG degree, candidates are also required to appear for entrance examinations like UGC NET-JRF, GATE, GPAT, etc. 

Usually, UBS will start the admission for the PhD from July 2026 (tentative), and the candidates who pass the eligibility criteria easily can fill out the hard copy of the application forms till August 2026 (tentative).
