For the 2026 academic session, the total tuition fee for the standard UID campus programme is INR 24,00,000 for the complete four year duration. Students have the option to choose international pathways such as the Rubika Pathway or the Europe Semester Pathway, both of which have a total programme fee of INR 26,00,000. The Europe Semester Pathway additionally requires students to bear the cost of the overseas semester, estimated at approximately Euro 4,650 to Euro 5,000. For students enrolled in the UID Bangalore campus, the total tuition fee for all B.Des (Hons.) programs is INR 24,00,000 for the entire 4 year duration. This fee applies to all the specialisations such as Fashion Design & Technology, Game Design & Game Programming, Communication Design, Interior Architecture & Design, Animation & Film Making, Product & Service Design and the Global Design Programme (GDP). This is the fee structure for students pursuing the course at the UID Bangalore campus. 

The Rubika pathway is an international study option which is offered in collaboration with Rubika University in France. It allows students to study design at UID while also getting exposure to global learning standards and international teaching methods. Through this pathway, students get opportunities to learn advanced design skills, work on international projects and experience a global academic environment. It helps students to build a strong portfolio and prepares them for design careers at an international level.

The total tuition fee includes an admission processing fee of INR 1,00,000. The first semester fee is INR 2,25,000 and from the second semester onwards the fee is INR 3,25,000 per semester for the remaining 7 semesters.

UID Bangalore Fee Structure 2026 (Europe semester pathway: 1 semester abroad option) 

The Europe Semester Pathway allows students to pursue their one semester at a partner university in Europe. It helps students to gain international learning experience. Through this pathway students can explore global design practices, interact with different cultures and broaden their academic exposure. 

The total programme fee is INR 26,00,000 while the Europe semester involves an additional cost of approximately Euro 4,650 to Euro 5,000. The fee is divided across semesters, starting with an initial admission processing fee of INR 1,00,000. The first semester fee is INR 2,25,000, while from the second semester onwards, each semester fee is INR 3,25,000.
