Udaybhansinhji Regional Institute of Cooperative Management, popularly known as URICM Gandhinagar, is a premier management institute located in Gujarat’s capital city, Gandhinagar. URICM Gandhinagar was established in 1956 by Udaybhansinhji, Prince of Porbandar, who led the cooperative movement. The institute is managed under the National Council for Co-operative Training (NCCT) and promoted as an autonomous society by the Ministry of Cooperation (GOI).
URICM Gandhinagar offers an AICTE-approved 2-year regular PGDM-Agribusiness Management, and Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management (HDCM) & Directorate General Resettlement as a training course. The admission for this course is dependent on merit, national tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA. Final selection to the PGDM-ABM is based on the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). In addition to this, URICM also offers certification courses in MS-Office( online) and training courses such as HDCM (Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management) and Diploma in Industrial Cooperative Management for Government executives.

The application forms were released in April 2025, and the last date was 31 May 2025. Now, URICM is accepting admissions for the academic term 2025-27 for PGDM-ABM since the last week of June 2025. The admission process is expected to continue till the second week of September 2025 (Tentative).
URICM accepts both online and offline application forms. The online application form is available at the institute’s official website. When applying, candidates will be required to pay INR 500 as an application fee to proceed with the admission process. Candidates are advised to keep the required documents such as recently clicked photos, academic scores (X, XII, and Bachelor’s degree marksheet), national test scorecard, caste certificate, sports and experience certificate if asked.
URICM Gandhinagar provides residential PGDM-Agribusiness Management, a two-year core course. The institute also offers long-term and short-term training courses such as HDCM, Diploma in ICM, Banking, Leadership, etc. Admission is strictly based on merit, the latest valid scores of the national examination, GD, and PI. To be eligible for the PGDM-ABM, candidates are advised to meet the following criteria. The minimum eligibility criteria for the PGDM-ABM course are to hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% (45% for the reserved category) marks and must have a valid score in any of the latest conducted national-level entrance examinations, such as CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, state-CET, or MAT. Foreign candidates will have to qualify for either the GMAT or GRE. Candidates in the final year of the bachelor’s degree, who are awaiting their results, can also apply.
The admission at URICM for the current term is already in process. However, if candidates are planning to pursue PGDM-ABM from URICM for the next academic term, i.e. academic term 2026-28, they can appear for the upcoming national tests such as CAT 2025 and XAT 2026, which will be conducted their exams soon. Registration for CAT 2025 and XAT 2026 has started and will close on 13 September 2025 and 05 December 2025, respectively.

URICM Gandhinagar offers an AICTE-approved PGDM course in Agribusiness Management. Candidates are accepted through academic scores of Class 12+3 education, national-level entrance exam, GD, and PI. Apart from that, candidates are required to fulfil basic eligibility criteria that are as follows:
A minimum of 50% (General/ OBC-NCL) is necessary in at least 3 years Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university/ institute.
In case, candidate belongs to the reserved category (SC/ST/ PwD), she/he must have at least 45% in their Bachelor’s degree.
Candidates must ensure they have a valid score of any of the mentioned entrance exam scores, such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or ATMA. If foreign nationals, GMAT or GRE scores are required.
Final shortlisting will be done based on group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
