The results of the entrance exam—CAT, MAT, XAT, OJEE, Orissa JEE, AIEEE, or any equivalent exam—are used by the institute to determine admission.

At the PG level of education, TITE offers courses like M. Tech and MBA programs under multiple specializations. While in the course of M. Apart from the course fees, students are also required to pay certain additional amounts. Some of the major additional fees include hostel fees, which range from INR 24,000 per year to INR 14,400 per year. Transportation fees are also one of the criteria for which some additional amount has to be paid. For the pre-placement procedure and uniform, candidates are required to pay INR 3,000 per year and INR 1,800 to INR 4,800 per year, respectively. The caution money of INR 2,0000 also has to be paid.
