Techno India University is a premier private university established in 2012 by the West Bengal State Legislature Act under the supervision of the Techno India Group. Techno India University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026
Techno India University course admission is based on the program chosen by the candidates. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria, followed by the qualifying marks in the entrance examinations. - For admission to the flagship four-year B.Tech course, candidates must have passed class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects, followed by the qualifying marks in WBJEE or JEE Main entrance examination.
- To be eligible for three-year BBA (Hons) admission, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination in any stream from any recognised board.
- For admission to the five-year B.Arch course, students must have passed class 10+2 with at least 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects from any recognised board.
- For three-year LLB admission, candidates must have passed class 12th from any recognised board in any stream.
- For admission to the BSc Nursing course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognised board with the Bio Science. Candidates must also clear the JENPAUH (Joint Entrance for Paramedical, Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy) examination.
- Candidates who want to take admission in postgraduate programmes at Techno India University must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Eligibility for the M.Sc course requires a background in science, engineering, environmental science, etc.
- Admission in M.Tech programmes requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related stream.

Techno India University Scholarship
The Bharat Ratna Shri Pranab Mukherjee Merit Scholarship was declared and announced by the former President of India; July 24, 2019, that the first university in India to offer this program to its students, Techno India University (TIU) in West Bengal, had formally adopted and established as a national source of pride for all Indians. There is one scholarship awarded annually to deserving students by means of an awarded certificate under the Bharat Ratna to each recipient. This scholarship allows successful student recipients to concentrate on improving their science and technology expertise level and contribute to furthering India's position as a worldwide centre of excellence in scientific and technological advancement.
