Takshashila University Tindivanam Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025

Students who want admissions in UG or PG course programs must atleast have completed 12th class with minimum 65% marks from recognized & reputed board, and Bachelor degree in relevant field with at least 50% marks from their accredited University.
UG courses require candidates that must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with a background in science (preferably Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics). A minimum of 50% marks is required in the qualifying examination. In some cases, an entrance exam or personal interview may be required to assess the suitability for the course.
To be eligible for PG course Admissions at Takshashila University Tindivanam, students must have completed their graduation or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates from related fields of subject may also be considered. Entrance exams or personal interviews may be required as part of the selection process.
To be admitted to the candidature for a doctoral degree here, an applicant must appear for the entrance test for the Ph.D. Program that is to be conducted here on 26th July 2026 (tentative). A prescribed application form with an application fee of 1000 INR is available at the Research office or may be downloaded from the University website.The applicants who have qualified in UGC / JRF / NET / SLET / GATE / M.Phil. are exempted from the written test, but have to appear for Ph.D. interviews.
