SVNIT Eligibility Criteria
For B.Tech, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a technical vocational subject. Candidates must also have qualified in the JEE Main, followed by JoSAA counselling. Admission is granted based on JEE Main ranks and JoSAA seat allocation.
For M.Tech, applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA for Research M.Tech). Candidates must also have a valid GATE score.
For MBA, candidates must hold a full-time Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university with at least 60% marks. Selection is based on the CAT, GMAT, GRE, XAT, CMAT, or MAT score. Candidates who do not have a score in these exams may appear for the institute's test. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test, group discussion, and personal interview as part of the final selection process.
For PhD candidates, a Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least 60% is required. Additionally, candidates should have qualified for GATE/NET at least once during their academic career, depending on the department. Admission is granted based on performance in a written test and a personal interview conducted by the respective departments.
