St. Xavier’s College, Bangalore, provides a Postgraduate Diploma with distinctive types of PGDM courses being added to its curriculum. Namely, these courses include PGDM Global, PGDM Corporate, PGDM Postplacement Course, and PGDM Professional. Also the PGDM courses incorporate numerous disciplines. Major specialisations which are being offered at SXB are Marketing, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Human Resources Development, Entrepreneurship and Startup, and Production & Operations Management. The duration and required qualifications will be the same for the provided courses. However, the fee paid to the college will differ depending on the type of course chosen by the candidates.
The duration of the given PGDM courses is a minimum of two years. The eligibility criteria that all candidates are supposed to meet to be eligible for all PGDM admissions at SXB are having a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50%. The fees will be charged according to the type of PGDM course chosen. For instance, if a student chooses to pursue PGDM Global, s/he will have to pay a total of INR 5,40,000 for the whole two-year course. If a candidate chooses to take PGDM Professional, s/he will have to pay INR 3,60,000 for the entire course. The given amounts only include one-time admission fees (to be charged at the time of admission) and two years of tuition fees. Other charges, such as the security/ caution deposit, hostel fees, annual maintenance charges, etc., are excluded from the given amount.
Tuition fees (major component), admission fees, caution deposit, and accommodation charges, etc., are required to be paid to confirm one's seat at SXB. A security deposit of INR 10,000 is a refundable charge that will be refunded when a student completes the course. Admission fees of INR 50,000 and annual maintenance fees of INR 10,000 are non-refundable charges. The accommodation facility is separate for male and female candidates, hence, charges may vary.
The admission fees for the PGDM Global, PGDM Professional and PGDM Corporate will be INR 50,000, while for the PGDM Postplacement course, the admission fees will be INR 95,000.
At St. Xavier College Bangalore, PGDM Global is a distinguished postgraduate diploma course that focuses on developing aspiring globally oriented leaders in the field of management. This course requires students to work with well-known companies for a time period. This aspect can be regarded as the primary highlight of the PGDM Corporate course, which is offered exclusively at SXB.
The total fees for this course is INR 4,90,000, which includes INR 2,20,000 tuition fees that will be paid each year.
With the same notion of academia and industry collaboration, SXB also has PGDM Professional, which follows the same requirements as PGDM Corporate. This course also requires its students to give some of their time to work with reputed companies. The total fees (including only tuition and admission fees) to complete this whole course will be INR 360,000. INR 1,30,000 to be paid in the first year, while INR 1,80,000 will be charged in the second year.
SXB offers a PGDM Post placement course for students who want to create career opportunities while still pursuing their higher studies. Additionally, this course helps in landing dream jobs and is quite popular among students who face financial constraints. In this course, candidates are required to pay the course fee after they have been placed in a top company. However, a marginal amount will be paid at the time of admission, while the remaining charges will be paid after the candidate gets his/her paycheques. The total fees will be INR 3,95,000 for the two-year term. INR 95,000 will be the admission fees, and INR 3,00,000 is to be paid as the course fee (paid after the placement).
