SRM University Sonepat Admission is open for the academic year 2026-27. All eligible candidates can apply through the official website of the university before the last date, 05 June 2026. The university offers a wide range of courses under UG, PG and PhD programs in various departments like Pharmacy, Law, Science, and Humanities, etc. Admissions to the various courses at SRM University are based on merit and valid entrance exam scores. To get admission into UG programs, a candidate must pass Class 12 with a minimum qualifying mark from a recognised board, whereas for the postgraduate program, candidates must have a graduation degree with a minimum qualifying mark from a recognised university. For the PhD program, candidates must have a master’s degree from a recognised university in a relevant field.

SRM University Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

The admission process at SRM University is currently ongoing, and interested candidates who want to pursue their chosen course must be eligible and follow the admission process. The eligibility criteria for the different level courses, which are offered by the University:

• Candidates who want to pursue a UG-level course must have scored 50-55% in the 10+2 Examination, but for some courses, like B.Tech., candidates must also have a valid score in the JEE Entrance examination.

• Candidates interested in a PG-level course from SRM University must have a minimum qualifying mark in their bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Courses like MBA require scores from any of the entrances like CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT or NMAT and an interview round after the Entrance exam. 

• SRM University also offers PhD courses. To seek admission, candidates must hold a masters degree from a recognised board along with a minimum aggregate percentage.

• For the PhD programme under the Mechanical Engineering, a candidate must have a minimum of 55% marks or an aggregate CGPA. Also, a candidate must clear exams under CSIR/GATE/UGC/JRF/NET/SLET.

SRM University Scholarship

The school offers scholarships to all its eligible students based on their performance throughout the academic year. The SRM University Scholarships are based on score, chancellor scholarship, Haryana domicile scholarship, scholarship based on the SRMJEE aspirants, based on CLAT rankings and so on, with a 100% of waiver in academic fees under certain criteria which students must fulfil. Scholarships to the students are based on their Entrance & Competitive exams, and on their academic excellence throughout the year. Candidates who have scored a minimum of 75% and above are eligible for the scholarships, with a minimum of 10% and above. Also, the candidates who have scored at least 85% and above in the SRMHCAT Entrance exam are eligible for a minimum of 10% scholarship and above.
