Sree Gokulam Medical College and Research Foundation (SGMC and RF) is a private medical college based in Kerala. Established in the year 2004 and commencing its operations in 2005, the medical college is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and has recognition from the National Medical Commission (NMC).
The institution provides a complete array of academic courses. At the undergraduate level, the college provides the MBBS course with an annual intake of 150 students. Postgraduate studies consist of a range of MD and MS courses. Along with these courses, SGMCRF also provides courses in nursing and para-clinical courses with an aim to cover the complete range of healthcare education. The academic curriculum is prescribed as per the National Medical Commission.
Located on a 40-acre campus, SGMCRF has a comprehensively developed infrastructure in the form of well-equipped laboratories, a central library, residential hostels, and sports facilities. Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation (SGMC and RF) provides a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Medicine and Health Sciences. Sree Gokulam Medical College UG and PG courses admissions will open in July-August 2025. MBBS, MD, MS, etc., are some of the popular courses offered at SGMC.
For undergraduate admission to MBBS, the aspirants should have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, obtaining a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board, and should also appear for NEET UG. For postgraduate studies, the applicants should possess an MBBS degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university and should have cleared NEET PG.
The fee for the UG and PG programs for one year varies between INR 5,00,000 and INR 35,00,000 (approximately), depending on the course. Admissions are granted to UG and PG courses based on NEET-UG or NEET-PG scores; the dates to register for these exams have ended, NEET PG is scheduled to be held on 15 June 2025.

Sree Gokulam Medical College Admission Eligibility Criteria 2025:
UG Program (MBBS)
Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech & English.
Minimum 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
Admission is based on the NEET UG score conducted by NTA, followed by the centralized counselling round.
PG Programs (MD/MS)
Must hold an MBBS degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized medical college.
Completion of a 1-year rotating internship is mandatory.
Admission is based on the NEET PG conducted by NBE.
Sree Gokulam Medical College Placement
Internship: Once the students finish MBBS, they have to undergo a one-year compulsory internship at the college-associated hospital.
Junior Resident (JR) Posts: The college helps students get JR jobs after the internship, usually in the same hospital.
Expected Salary: The salary package offered for JR roles is around INR 4.8 LPA and INR 9.6 LPA.
Although the college does not have an official placement program, it offers students the help needed to obtain a job upon graduation.
