Companies give a short talk to explain the job and their expectations. After that, students go through written tests, group discussions and interviews. Those students who perform well are selected and given offer letters. The institute also provides training in aptitude, technical subjects, and communication skills to help students for better placements.
The placement process at SVIT happens in two phases. The summer and winter training internships are part of a placement process. The summer internship starts in May and ends in June, whereas the Winter internship takes place between November to December for a total period of 2 to 5 weeks.
